We checked in to our room and it was very hot. The thermostat was set at 18.5but the temperature was 24. We went to the customer desk and complained and we were told that they would send a maintenance technician. He came and opened a vent and said it would only take half an hour and cold air would start. That did not happen we went back to the desk and asked to be transferred to a room with air conditioning. We were told that they had none available as every room was occupied. So we asked for the manager and after much discussion he said he would give us breakfast vouchers and would recommend to his manager that we get 30% discount on our room. Next morning we spoke to day manager and he gave us breakfast vouchers and 15% discount on room. He admitted that they knew there was a problem and that the air conditioner didn’t work.
