"Location, location! It’s in the center of it all if you want a lot of action. Otherwise it is very loud all night from neighboring bars and the area around it is filthy, although the hotel is nice. We arrived around noon, they said our room was ready but it would be $89 to check in early. That really put us off, I’ve never heard that before, it’s not very good service. The rooftop bar is amazing and the morning breakfast was nice. The bed was comfy, but omg, the decor is stunningly ugly in the rooms. I’m sure they were going for young and hip, but it comes off tacky with no cohesion. The rooms need a makeover STAT!"

"cute affordable hotel near venice beach and my favorite restaurant - Scopa. Staff is pleasant and supportive and available 24/7. Feedback: --The mattress was too soft for my liking. -- The bathroom light flickers first before coming on. (That should be an easy fix and should be addressed) -- The bathroom door slowly swings forward (which could indicate a foundation issue) -- the pool was heated and the jacuuzi was relaxing. I had a hectic schedule and looked forward to coming back to the hotel to decompress in a lovely space, inside and out. I would definitely come back again! All in all, I would definitely stay here again "
