When you see reviews that give 6/10, or less, believe them. The outside, the lobby and the restaurant were nice but the room was dirty and outdated. Electrician and plumbers nightmare. Fake electrical switches, outlets that didn't work. Shower would fill up with water so you couldn't open the door until it drained. Carpet was filthy. I stayed at the Crown Plaza in Rome and it was very nice. This one needs to use that one as an example.

Shuttle options are great to have although the hotel is farther from central location however having the train on the back of the hotel is great! Buffett breakfast good. They also have flight schedules avail in the lobby. The bedroom curtain looks old and not hang properly.

Service desk staff welcoming and kind. Facility is not up to standards- filthy carpet that needs replacing too, food in restaurant was very poorly prepared, overpriced, and disappointing although the staff were nice and hospitable. Location convenient for day trips by rail into Venice but not much around this facility so you are mostly captive.

From the outside this hotel looked lovely beautiful. The front lobby and desk area was open and nice looking. The bar, restaurant and buffet area, both inside and out were very clean, tidy and open. The front desk staff were nice and efficient. The halls to the rooms were disgusting with haves stains on the carpet in many areas, the bathroom had mold around the shower. The curtains in the room had holes in them. The bar waiter was loud, obnoxious, and very rude when trying to be funny. Inappropriate comments were made to my friend, and I complained to the front desk staff. They in turn advised the manager and the waiter was spoken to immediately. After this discussion, the waiter was even louder, was banging doors and drawers behind the bar and made for an uncomfortable and not relaxing area. We will never return to this establishment, although the manager and front desk staff were good to address the situation. They did also provide us with a free round of drinks, however, we were informed by others that everyone gets a free drink. So in fact, we just got what we should have received. We also ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was delicious. But service was uncomfortable given the issue with the bar waiter.

First hours in the room were with no A/C and water due to a maintenance procedure. Later after the A/C and water service were restored water started leaking from the ceiling of the bathroom. We reported it but it was not fixed. We requested an iron and never was delivered to the room. I had to go to the from desk at 3 am to secure it. Not going back to this property for sure.

The room was quiet, the decor of the entry, bar lounge and breakfast dining room was classy and welcoming. We were able to order glasses of wine that were from the bottle menu!
