The San Giacomo apartments in Venice are three elegant properties in an ancient sixteenth century building in the sestiere Santa Croce, far from the crowds of tourists, immersed in a genuine Venetian atmosphere. The ideal location, quiet but just a short distance from this wonderful city’s main attractions, is one of the advantages of these apartments, all of which have an equipped outdoor area. “Giardino Due", on the first floor, is ideal for couples and includes a living room with kitchenette, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. The apartment is furnished in classic Venetian style. Outside it also has a private part of a delightful, jasmine scented garden surrounded by ancient walls (the other part belongs to the "Giardino” apartment). Equipped with table and chairs it is the ideal spot for outdoor meals and for relaxing after a day’s sightseeing in magnificent Venice. The property is just a short walk from the Rialto market, the Frari Church, the San Giovanni Evangelista school, the 'Ca Pesaro Modern Art Gallery, as well as the vaporetto stop on the Riva di Biasio on the Grand Canal, and many shops, bars, taverns, restaurants and the characteristic bacari, where you can taste cicheti accompanied by excellent wines.

Charming garden and good location.

Good facilities, comfortable and quiet but easy access to Riva di Biasio Vaporetto stop. Only challenge is getting baggage over Scalzi bridge but the porters are quite reasonable. I went to the opera 2 nights and travel very easy.

Quiet, authentic Venetian apartment with walled private garden - a perfect retreat into quiet and nature after a soul-filling day visiting the art and architectural gems this unique charming city offers. Excellent connections to water bus, market and daily shopping in the square moments from the apt. Perfection! Bed is similar to a King Sized North American bed. Beyond my expectations.

Emplacement relativement central près d'une station de vaporetto. Endroit calme sans être isolé. A proximité de 2 magasins d'alimentation generale. Appartement bien rénové dans un immeuble ancien mais avec le confort moderne. Une représentante du loueur reside a proximité et passe volontiers si besoin. Quant a la visite de Venise il faut aimer marcher puisque pas de voiture de bus ou de vélo. Et les italiens sont accueillants. Il faut en général reserver ses entrées dans les sites au prealable sur internet. C'est facile sauf pour la Basilique St Marc.
