Our room was a bit small but the staff was friendly and helpful. Location wise was walkable to st. Mark's square and to the train station if you did not have a lot of luggage.

The property was charming and authentic. We had a corner room on the second floor with a view of the street from one window and the canal from the other window. Our walk downstairs and onto a small square gave us quick access to shops and a variety of eating places. It was so handy to everything! Checkin and checkout were so easy.

The hotel uses a second building for the economy rooms down a dark, grimey side alley, that wasn't what we expected, so check where your room is located when booking. Room was above takeaway shop that worked late and neighbours, similarly were working late, so light and noise impacted the room. The smell.from.the alley wasn't great.

The room was clean, small but enough for my husband I. The area was very walkable with MANY shops and restaurants surrounding it. The area is pretty loud well into the early hours (at least 1:00 am) but it didn’t bother us. It is a good place for the price.

Busy area with restaurants at the base of the hotel so it's very noisy through the night and early morning. otherwise great hotel, very clean

So misleading looking at the pictures online. When I arrived the door was locked. A man finally let me in. He was rude and unwelcoming. The hotel had a pending charge on my credit card and then charged me the full amount prior to giving me the key. I pulled up the pending charge and he reversed it but wasnt very nice about it. Then he walked me outside and across a dmall square to a dark dirty alley which was where I as a woman traveling alone would have to access. There is no elevator and my room was 3 stories up. No view. Every evening when I used the AC, it drew air from where someone was smoking. It was horrible for a nonsmoker to feel like you were sitting near or trying to fall asleep with cigarette smoke filling the room.

It was good, please note there is NOT mini fridge, I assumed they have it. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. If you are looking for a vintage place this is amazing.

The hotel is very well located. It is an easy 20-minute walk from the train station and it is centrally located. The staff was extremely helpful (they loaned us an umbrella when it rained and told us where to find good tramezzini). It is a great option if you want a nice base from which to see the city.
