Staff was excellent, always very pleasant and helpful. I was lost when I arrived Venice, I called Hotel Becher and Elena sent Francis to me, he walked me to the hotel and carried my luggage. Breakfast - very good European style. Temp in my room was perfect and adjustable but I was able to open my windows too for beautiful breezes.

We were fortunate to get upgraded to a lovely suite with a balcony view over a canal. The staff were all wonderful and couldn't have been more helpful in terms of recommending restaurants, giving advice etc The breakfast included cereals, eggs, cheese and cold cuts - couldn't ask for more. The hotel is ideally situated central to the major tourist attractions of Venice. Overall a lovely small hotel.

Joanne was always very helpful at the hotel desk and very responsive to our questions. Gigi and Normi(sp?) made wonderful cappuccinos at breakfast and kept us well fed. Francis kept our room very clean. The location of the hotel to the sites and shopping along with the staff made our stay in Venice a great time with family!

The room was clean and spacious with an old world charm, beautiful furniture and chandelier. We used the fan since it was cool. The staff was lovely and very attentive. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast with delicious scrambled eggs, fresh cheese, meats, fruit salad, yogurt, bread,baked goods and wonderful coffee. One of the best breakfasts I have had at a hotel.

Everything was absolutely amazing!! The hotel and staff surpassed all our expectations. On multiple occasions during our stay, they went above and beyond to fill extra requests (water taxi, in-room wine, recommendations, kindness to our 7 yr old son, etc.). We appreciated the warm welcome we received complete with 2 glasses of Prosecco. In fact the staff was always welcoming throughout our 3 day stay in Venice. The rooms were nicely decorated and very comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent offering a wide range of everything you would expect and more. They even brewed made to order cappuccinos. The location along one of the smaller canals was perfect in terms of proximity to major squares, restaurants and churches. One of our lasting memories includes watching and hearing the singing gondoliers as they floated right outside our window.
