This was my second stay, first was 2 years ago. Great eating options near by. The ferry to the airport is short walking distance. Front desk of check in location were bilingual and very courteous.

Rooms look old-fancy, with beautiful marble mixed with aging but intricate wood finishes. Functionally, totally fine, and I’m sure the old-fancy style is standard for Venice. No elevator, of course, for our second-story room. Staff was responsive but no front desk presence is in the building. Hallways/stairs were dark when we left early in the morning.

The staff were extremely helpful, kind, and accommodating and really contributed to what was a pleasant stay. The location was conveniently close to the train station, and was right on the canal with many dining options. The room was very well cleaned and nicely decorated, quiet, with means to keep the room dark in the morning.

Lovely stay at this hotel. Really convenient location, and only a 10 min walk from the train station. The interior of the room is beautiful, very unique and pretty. Comfortable stay and clean. Highly recommend!

Comfortable stay in Venice

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon trip around Europe. Check-in was easy and the room was comfortable. We had everything we needed and the location was easy walking distance to everything that we wanted to see but was also close to a boat stop and the train station. We needed to do some laundry during our stay and there is a laundrette near the train station that is easy enough to use. We would stay here again if we visit Venice again.

One big disappointing area was our room was in 3rd floor and had to take our bags there. No elevator. Use stairs to take up n bring down. Check out time too early. Need to be at least 12pm. Last night around 12am someone on floor above making so much noise. Sounded like furniture was being moved. Floor above was blocked off so not sure if management was rearranging something but noise went on for good one hour. Two gents were great helping us with information. Overall good. We are used to in state having elevator for anything going up.

This is a very clean hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. I would stay here again. The check in process was at a different place than the hotel and they wanted the fees in cash only and not credit card. Other than that we loved the hotel.
Front view and the entrance is on the side. The front is a store/bar that has tables out front.

Lady at the counter was a bit rude. There was an additional fee of four euros per room for both mine and the party I was traveling with. She refused to accept our credit cards for payment said it was a city tax and she needed cash only. At the time we did not have euros as of yet and she refused to take US currency. Eventually, she conceded to taking our credit card for the so-called tax but only if we paid for both rooms together
