This hotel was in a good location - convenient for walking to major activities and also close to one of the water bus docks. Our room was large and the bathroom was large and had been modernized. The breakfast was very nice. The staff were incredibly helpful. I would stay here again. The only downside is that the hotel is on the third floor of a building without a lift. The hotel proactively reached out to let us know this. The staff carried our large suitcase up and down for us, but we did have to ascend and descend the stairs a few times each day so it is important to be aware of this.

Incredible in every way

LOVED staying here! Staff was SO nice and helpful. Rooms are beautiful and just as pictured. Breakfast in the morning was lovely and it was great to chat with fellow travelers staying there. Felt very safe staying here traveling as a young solo-female.

amazing place to stay! even better staff (: we got in late the night we were supposed to check in and were worried about how to get to the compound and check in. however, even before we got there, barbara had already messaged us and given us step by step instructions on which boats to take and how to get to the facility. and then, despite getting to the compound late, sunil waited the entire time for us to get there, coming to greet us and open the door and show us around. not only that, but both barbara made sure we were taken care of the entirety of our stay — coordinating transportation to the airport for an early flight, having an pleasant breakfast morning every day, and just continuing to check on us. venice was beautiful, but we could not speak more highly of the people who helped us enjoy it!

The b&b was at a better price compared with the other options in Venice and the location was great - very walkable, close to many restaurants and attractions. The manager was nice when we checked in, allowing us early check-in and gave us some tips on where we should go and how to plan our visit. However, it's important to note that the room was on the third floor with no elevator and we barely got help with carrying our luggage up or down the stairs. Professionalism could be improved (the manager was passive-agressive about giving me change back after I paid her for taxes). There is an air conditioner in the room but it doesn't work well and the breakfast food was pretty basic and didn't feel fresh. All in all I'd say it was a good stay but could be much better with more effort.
