The location of this hotel is very close to San Marco. Very friendly and helpful day staff. Rooms are small, but beds are comfortable.The breakfast that was included was a nice treat.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and have found it to be consistently well managed and clean. The staff is very professional, prompt and attentive. The hotel is well placed near the main tourist spots but far enough away so that one can find some quiet and discover a more neighborhood like atmosphere. I look forward to staying at the Palazzo Guardi on my next visit.

Exceptional hotel, decor beautiful, breakfast excellent and the breakfast room overlooking a canal. Bathroom delightful, Murano glass chandeliers in our suite. Walking distance to Vaparato, water bus, which is great to get around. Gondolier rides at Academia bridge recommended, near to hotel. Only consideration is the lift, 3 feet square max, hand operated. No problem with small suitcases or 1 person at a time with case going up to 3rd floor. Would definitely come back here. Valentina and her staff are welcoming and attentive.

It was a great medium priced hotel with normal good amenities. The shower was much bigger than a lot of European hotels so that was a highlight. The room was pretty large and well decorated. We were on the second floor right up against the street and the noise from lots of people walking around and yelling late into the night, kept us from keeping the windows open while sleeping. Not sure if the air-conditioning was working, but it maintained a slightly warm temperature never cooling off nicely.

We stayed 2 nights and we both had bites from the first night. When we woke up ln the second night we found bed bugs crawling on us and the bed. I left the hotel a message to contact me to resolve the matter and have not heard from them so I can only assume they won’t be taking care of the problem.

We had great help from the reception staff with 3 separate items in which we needed help (not issues or problems) regarding luggage, food and recommendations. Housekeeping and breakfast staff were very responsive and helpful too. All very friendly and thoughtful!! It is on the 3rd floor of a building overlooking a canal. And yes it has an elevator/lift. We had something shipped here for us and they were super accommodating in receiving it and holding it for us. Thank you very much!! Breakfast included a variety of choices for food and drink. All fresh and tasty in a nice open area. Very attentive to requests. It’s a small hotel with spacious rooms and excellent service. Grazie mille Valentina per il vostro servizio!!

Property was convenient to get to from the Airport Alilaguna water taxis coming from airport to Zattere B. Academia is also nearby and walk to grand canal and other areas. Little noisy from Bathroom and adjoining rooms .Great service,Promt support, Breakfast options, in-room safe.

Fabulous location- easy access to all of venice

2 night stay with family- location of this hotel couldn’t have been better. Quiet and clean and staff very helpful. Average breakfast but suited us fine. Eat access to all areas of Venice. The little ice cream shop at end of the lane is brilliant!

I would stay here again

This is a great spot. Very spacious rooms and beautiful old building. Very close to valporetto port so easy walk to hotel. Difficult to find initially, the entrance is in a very narrow hallway. I highly recommend the place
