A pleasant surprise after initial experience

When we first arrived they placed us in a room that was not remotely to standard or how pictured. It was Small, not clean, and not livable even for 2 nights. We asked to be switched to another room but they said it was Impossible. 2 hours later we were ready to leave (after hotels.com got involved and couldn’t help much ) we went to concierge for the last time saying we would like to be switched or we are checking out with refund and they finally “found a room that wasn’t ready”. It was Ready. It was gorgeous (not a suite or an upgrade ) the standard that we saw from the photos online. Luckily it was A beautiful, clean and well kept room and it worked Out. Adding photos to show what the first v. Second room comparison was. I advise if you get a room not pictured to ask reception about another room because they do have beautiful, well kept rooms just maybe don’t choose to put people in staying short stays.

Fabulous hotel in a quiet area of Venice. I've stayed in the city many times and feel this hotel and its kind, thoughtful staff were top rate. Simple very clean rooms, great beds, excellent breakfast. The hotel feels new and smart and is only 3 mins from Salute or 8 mins walk from Accademia. If you arrive on the airport water bus (Alilaguna) and exit at Zattere you are less that 10 mins walk to the hotel too.

Unfortunately the bathroom floor was not clean at the time of check in and remained so until checkout. The elevator only goes to floors 1 and 2, not 3, so luggage must be carried to/from the top floor rooms. This was not apparent at the time of booking, no help was offered with the luggage. The bedroom wall was thin enough to allow sounds from the room next door to be very easily heard, which was unpleasant. I'd expect that soap in a 1 or 2 star hotel!

Lovely little hotel with fabulous breakfast

Lovely little hotel in a quiet spot overlooking the canal, room small but perfectly proportioned for everything you need. Breakfast was fantastic and even had chilled prosecco! Reception was attended by lovely ladies and very polite and kind. Would definitely stay here if I'm in Venice

The staff were welcoming and during our 4 night stay assisted us many times. The breakfast buffet was worth 17euros per day. There was always fresh water in the room which we appreciated. They had fresh water with fruit available each day to refresh. They recommended a tour that we took on our last day to Murano snd Burano. The property is an easy 10- 20minute walk to the water bus depending on where you are going.We would recommend this property for your stay in beautiful Venice.

Great hotel with spacious and clean rooms. Staff goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable! Breakfast at the hotel was good. 15 minute walk to St. Marks Square located in a quieter area away from loud noise and busy crowds. Easy to and from the airport and trains from here! 8 minute walk to water busses.

We loved staying in a quieter area of Venice. It was 4 minutes walk to two vaporetto stops. Easy access to Lido to go to the beach. The room was a good size. We liked having coffee facilities and a fridge. The breakfast was excellent and open until 11. We were able to sleep in and stay out late every night. I really loved the mix of modern and traditional decor. Rooms felt light and airy.

I loved this property and would highly recommend it! It is somewhat close to a main vaporetto stop, and is in a quiet area. The bed was comfortable, it was so clean and the room was so charming! In the morning the breakfast was fantastic! I loved the fresh food and the options were plentiful! It was an excellent experience! For the check in and check out, the staff was quick and efficient and very kind. We even left our Bags there while we explored Venice for the day (after check out). I will highly recommend this property to my family and friends!
