Avoid this at all cost

Don't let the price deceive you, you are just wasting money on a place you absolutely hate and ruin your trip to Vienna. We booked a room and we can't even stay on the first night - we need to look for another hotel at 11 pm, and I bet we are not the only ones. The room was disgusting. Staff, rude. Hygiene, similar to prison. No one is cleaning the room. Their ventilation fan even had mould in it and was not usable. Critics may say it is only a hostel, but I have never been in a hostel worse than this. The staff there was reluctant to help me out with anything. I remember the guy, Hasan, being reluctant to answer any questions I had during the check-in, and even showing an annoyed face when I asked for a pen. Worst hostel experience.

Was very near to central station which made it easy to get to Vienna airport. Didnt like the check in process. Couldnt find a booking reference, one member of staff didnt want to help. Second member of staff found my booking reference then sent me back to the self check.in which was long winded when it was late with two tired kids.

I specifically booked this hotel because it advertised parking facilities. But when I arrived the receptionist informed me that all parking spaces were taken and that I should have booked and paid in advance. This information was not stated anywhere during the booking process, and I feel this was misleading. When I entered my room, I was extremely disappointed to find that the beds had not been made. The pillows had no cases, and the mattresses had no sheets, which left me in the position of having to make my own bed when I came from a really exhausting 8 hour roadtrip. This is unacceptable, as I paid for a room that should have been prepared and ready for my stay.

I didn't like the space for storing the luggage previous check-in. It was small for the amount of luggage. One of your bag as completely wet. One hour before our checkout the water stopped running from the taps and shower.

No A/C, poor cleaning, terrible breakfast, surprisingly busy. We will never return to this place. Don’t recommend it. 20€ for parking, although, electric vehicles parking places. ( not for families) Did not like that windows do not open ( locked) and the place is super hot , also we had to put the sheets on the beds ourselves because the sheets were folded on the table. Also there are punch of people standing on front of the entrance smoking cigarettes and weed ( though the place is family friendly and had to pass in the middle of smoking and drinking people.,, the good part is that there is kids corner at least where my kids and wife could wait for the car to arrive.

The hostel was managed very well and everything was clean but the rooms needed fans during the summer because the windows didn't open very much. That is the most necessary thing the management needs to invest in and shouldn't be cheap about that!
