austria trip

The hotel staff are friendly and ita located near the Belvedere Palace. There's a Aldi opposite and the train and underground is less than 10 minutes walk away. Cost from the airport in a taxi was around 25 euros. The rooms are clean.

Pleasant 2 day break

Only in Vienna for a 2 days and this hotel was ideal. 10 minute easy walk from main station and another 10 from a metro stop. Ideal for this, or even a longer stay to be honest. Nothing extravagant but comfy bed in a clean room for a good price. No complaints!

nice hotel in good location

a really smart looking hotel which is 5 minutes from the main rail station sud bahnhof. there is also a u bahn station 1 minute walk away which will take you on the short journey to the city centre and all the connecting lines to other parts of Vienna. the room was very clean and smart looking. the only fault I could find was the hairdryer in the bathroom didn't work properly. it cut out after a minute. fortunately I brought my own.

good clean hotel

About 20 min walk to centre although underground is not far from hotel. Room and hotel clean and comfortable. Did not have breakfast at hotel and ate at cafe frey on a nearby corner which was very nice. Would use this hotel again. Also used the underground garage which was very good but 18 euros per night.

Perfect hotel for Vienna visit

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night during our interrailing trip. The hotel's location is a small bit out from the main city attractions but is very accessible by public transport and therefore made it a very quiet peaceful area to stay in. The hotel is modernand very clean. The receptionist was welcoming and helpful. The room was the best part quite large for a double room with a very big bathroom and great shower. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. I woukd definitely come back on future visits to vienna

disappointing

rooms were nice, hotel generally good except that it was boiling hot while we were there, and our rooms, on the 7th floor (apparently in the roof) were suffocating. There was a rather ineffectual fan, we asked for another, but they did not seem interested in the issue. We left the window open one night and as a result got bitten to pieces by midges. Also the Internet connection did not extend to the 7th floor, again the staff did not seem to be interested in sorting that out. Breakfast - not included - was rather expensive. there are nice cafes and bars nearby.

Ideal for short stays

Staff extremely friendly. Ideal location Great value Could have had a thicker duvet or spare blankets and extra pillows as it was quite cold at night even with heating on but that's it Everything else was great and we would definitely stay again!

Good location, nice room, good value

It is within 5 minutes walking range to two underground stops, takes less than 20 minutes to get to the centre. The room was big, the bathroom good. The room was clean apart from the sheets had a strain on them. Only other compliant was one of the pillows was bad. Very good value! Would come back
