Lovely hotel with a nice atmosphere. Rooms were clean and nice touches of chocolate every day - bed was very comfy. The bar area was welcoming and breakfast excellent, my only gripe was the heat in the bedroom - even when turned right to 'cold' it seems to be hot - thankfully the windows opened and had to leave them open to cool room to be able to sleep, good job I had ear plugs.

The Das Tigra hotel is in a cental area for all Christmas Markets and not too far from the shopping area with easy access to the underground transport. The breakfast was lovely, lots of choice and very relaxed. The only thing I would say needs looking at is the temperature of the hotel. Very warm, a lower temperature would enable you to be outside ready.

From our first step into the hotel we were so impressed with every member of staff. Nothing was too much trouble and there was always someone on hand able to answer any questions. Our room was in the more modern part and was so well presented and exceptionally clean. The bathroom was modern and looked freshly decorated, the shower was hot and powerful and the hairdryer was of high quality. Although the room faced onto the outside street there was no noise issue at all. Breakfast was of really high quality with huge selection cold buffet and some hot additions, scrambled egg was excellent. Staff always on hand to help and direct you to a table. Das Tigra is very close walking distance from a large number of tourist attractions making it an ideal holiday hotel.

Thermostat by door seemed to make no difference; we set it to 15/16 degrees, it should have made the room feel cold, it didn’t. So we opened the window to freshen up the room; no one mentioned the nightclub/late bar with people talking shouting arguing revving bikes and cars because it’s certainly no asset to a hotel or beneficial to the residents at the front of the hotel, such as us.
