Cost effective

Overall good place. They have an outdoor hot tub, which seems like it would be nice most of the year. Sauna was small, but worked. They upgraded our room to something slightly nicer (so we’re told) and it was pretty nice; seems like the place was probably a bit of a grungy motel and they upscale it as best as possible without doing a tear down and rebuild; not the fanciest features, but at a quick glance, was quite hip and modern. The front desk staff was not friendly at check-in, but the morning staff were much more friendly; this honestly is probably the biggest thing that made me knock off a star. The morning included breakfast was probably the biggest shining star. It also is close to Vik for ease of access to restaurants and a few shops and black sand beach.

Perfect location. The hot tub and sauna were wonderful after a long day of travel. The hotel breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. The spread of food and drinks was endless and very fresh.

A very clean hotel and property. The breakfast was amazing! Our room was very comfortable and we had a great night sleep. Everyone at the front desk was very professional and extremely helpful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay overnight at this property.

Dark is the word here, as the lighting in the room is very limited. Bathroom lights were good however. Breakfast buffet good. Easy parking. Room was very hot. Very odd textured pillowcase and comforter blanket. Very odd feeling to the texture.

Overall property is in a good area a few mins drive outside Vik. The buffet was excellent although expensive. Breakfast was good. They failed to clean the room despite this being requested, which was poor

The hotel itself is within views of the mountains and and across the road from the shoreline. The rooms were spacious, clean, and convenient. However, if you're looking to wind down each night by watching tv, you may want to look somewhere else as the terrible wifi made it a challenge.

The room was cooler than I wanted and the thermostat was inoperative. There were no plugs near the desk with the kettle, so I had to plug it in by the bed or on the floor. The walls are thin - you can hear normal conversational voices from the next room. The duvet and pillow cases were annoyingly textured. This is a budget hotel and it shows more than in some.

It was a very clean room with a beautiful view. The hot tub and sauna were a nice touch. The property is spread out so you will need to walk outside to get to the dining or the gym facilities. Dinner offered several options and was very good. Breakfast was limited but enjoyable overall.
