The hotel was average. Breakfast wasn't the best, the coffee urn was usually empty and when pointed out to employees, they were "meh, we'll brew another one". Stopped refilling food about an hour before breakfast stopped, meaning those who came later had very limited choices. The bath gel in the shower had been refilled with conditioner, so had to use the bar of soap from the sink when showering. Witnessed an irate guest complaining to the on-duty manager about her getting into the shower and then finding out that the bath gel and shampoo containers were both empty. Instead of "I'm sorry, we'll take care of that immediately, can I offer you a coupon for a free drink at the bar", his response was "I'm not responsible for that" which infuriated her to the point that she checked out and said she was going to a different hotel. We should have paid a bit more and gone to a Marriott-branded property. Sometimes you get what you pay for.

My teenager and I stayed 7 days beginning on October 2nd. While some property renovations were underway, the staff was incredibly accommodating, and we hardly noticed a thing. There was no extra noise. The price, compared to nearby accommodations, was exceptional and was well worth the inconvenience of workers in the elevator or lobby twice. The nearby grocery store reduced our meal and snack budget on the trip, which was an unexpected bonus. Although the reception desk was always busy, the staff's kindness and competence made the experience worth waiting. Breakfast was always tidy and well-organized. We had no issues with theft or safety. Our suggestions will be emailed directly to management rather than shared publicly. Thank you very much.

Staff was great at check In. Had an allergy issue that they resolved for us quickly. Really nice people. Bartender was awesome and friendly. The breakfast was only thing that was not great. The staff I just can't enough great things about.

The service received from the staff encountered was professional and helpful.👏👏 The only issue was that the premises did not have a pool. The complimentary breakfast was fine, to begin the day, but opens up too early for those guests that want a slower pace when on vacation. 😎😎 Overall, I enjoyed my short stay and would recommend this location to anyone travelling to DC.
