Friendly helpful staff for messaging with late arrival, check-in, and check-out. The room was comfortable (although there was material hanging from underneath the bed nearest the window. The breakfast was enjoyed and the variety appreciated. Disappointing was the cost for parking. Upon arriving late, I was led to believe that 1 payment of $62 and some change would allow for 3 days of parking with freedom to go in and out without additional cost. So of course, I was shocked to learn that was the cost per night and dismayed that the parking cost was almost $300. Although I shared my understanding several times, the valet did not clarify until I brought it to his attention. The next time I travel to DC, I will take public transpiration and do uber or a taxi when needed should I book at your hotel or another.

The staff was very nice and informative. The lovely woman who checked me in remembered me the next morning for breakfast which was so nice. The check in and check out staff and also the over night staff (I purchased a drink late night) were all very nice and knowledgeable. It was just one night but I appreciate it the experience!

This is my fourth stay at Hyatt Place. The hotel is in a great location in DC. The hotel is within walking distance of the Convention Center, the Metro and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and clean with good amenities. One of the reasons I keep returning is the staff, especially Guillermo. The staff provides great customer service. I highly recommend this hotel.
