The hotel itself was really nice, but be prepared to fight for the deposit after you check out. I had to raise a dispute through my bank to get my deposit back even though the hotel told me it had been released. Pay in cash, don’t make my mistake.

A very old hotel, nicely maintained. Power outlets had difficulty with plug connectivity and water pressure was low. Bedding, pillows, and space were enjoyable!

This was my first stay at this hotel and I chose it primarily for location. It was convenient for my various meetings and very central. But I was very pleasantly surprised at how charming the hotel is. My room was great, spacious, comfortable and had everything I needed, for example a robe, a small fridge and a safe that was conveniently located. I was there for 8 nights, so the hotel matters, and I was very happy at the Lombardy. I will certainly stay there again.

What a delight! If you like old hotels with charm this is fun. Rooms are huge. If you are into modern sterile hotels this isn’t the one for you. I stayed with my elderly mom for a few days of site seeing and it was absolutely charming. Staff were superb!
