We enjoyed out stay except for the rooftop bar. The DJ was extremely loud, and people were leaving because of it. It was also all rap music. We couldn't sleep because we could hear the music 2 floors down.

Madison was absolutely the best thing that happened this weekend. Came in town for my partners birthday and she made sure we were accommodated along with a room upgrade. Everything was just so smoothly done and her positive attitude was one for the books!! When I say she didn’t miss a beat from check in to check out; she is definitely a gem! Thanks again and we will be returning VERY soon

The hotel itself was very nice. Great location.Service was less than expected from a Marriot hotel. The bar service was horrible. We were there for New Year’s Eve and the rooftop bar was closed. They opened the room so we can access the roof for fireworks but no champagne toast and we weren’t allowed to bring our own drinks either.

I absolutely loved my stay at the D.C. Moxy!! The staff was amazing, the atmosphere and general vibe was uplifting. The room was just what I was expecting, cozy/contemporary and clean. When I got to my room it smelled heavily of cigarettes and the staff knew this because they had left the windows open in December to try and air it out. The size of the room was fine for one person- I cannot imagine more than one or even a family maneuvering the space. By the end of my stay the hot water was barely working and stayed at just above lukewarm. Room did not get cleaned everyday. Front staff were hit or miss on friendliness. Trying to check in I had to actively try and wrangle attention from staff who were hanging out at the back of the bar. I liked that I had a corner room with lots of natural light but looked out to a dumpster and neighbors windows. Good location.
