Incorrect information provided by hotel related to parking despite us checking ahead of time. Front desk also pushing hard to sell breakfast deal using holiday as an excuse saying nearby shops and restaurants will be close all day which was not true.

The room had everything we needed and was clean. The hotel restaurant was very good and the staff were pleasant. The only complaint was the noise. Outside the window it sounded like loud construction all night long. Very disturbing. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and thought it was an excellent location, and close to the car ferry dock to leave for the South Island in the AM.

Our stay at the Hilton was good. Rooms were spacious and staff helpful. It was a little bizarre, though, that the Hotel couldn’t match a third party rate. I had to sit in the lobby, make the booking in Expedia and then they could check me in. Overall a pleasant stay

Boutique in a convenient location.

Registration was a bit clunky. Entrance is quite small and had to wait to register. Having said that the room and decor was very good. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Parking next door was good.
