Das der Standard in den USA nicht dem entspricht wie in Europa ist uns klar. Zuerst einmal kommt man nur zum Hotel, indem man durch einen etwas heruntergekommenen Trailerpark fährt. Das ist vielleicht nicht unbedingt schlimm, aber trotzdem etwas fragwürdig. Das Hotel bietet zwar alles an, was man in einem Hotel benötigt, aber wie: Die Klimaanlage wird portabel zur Verfügung gestellt, ist aber so dermaßen laut, dass man kaum schlafen kann. Die Tischdeckchen waren total verdreckt bei Ankunft. Bei Vorlage der Decken wurde mir gesagt, das man diese ja "einfach weglegen kann". Das Toilettenpapier ist zwar schön auf dem Behälter angebracht, aber es besteht keine Möglichkeit diese zu rollen. Ist vielleicht auch nur eine Kleinigkeit, weil man eine Ersatzrolle zwar hat, die ich aber leider dann nur auf dem Boden abstellen kann (was ich nicht unbedingt hygienisch finde) oder die Rolle auf dem Waschbecken ablegen muss, die Rolle dann aber immer wieder nass wird. Als ich dies dem Personal mitteilen wollte, erklärte er mir dass es aus Sicherheitsgründen so sei. Das Hotel war früher ein Pflegeheim (was die seltsame Einrichtung teilweise erklärt) und es nicht anders ginge und er mir eine Klorolle geben könne. Wir sind als Hotelgäste wirklich nicht kleinlich, aber bei einem Übernachtungspreis von 130€ erwarte ich etwas mehr. Auf diese Ansage bekam ich eine dreiste Antwort, ob er mir wg dem Toipapier 130 € nachlassen sollte. Mehr Platz zum Bewerten hab ich leider hier nicht.
