Nice Hotel . Good for families with young children . Nice pool . Breakfast was ok at first but every day something disappeared so at the end it was bread eggs and sausages ... The beach was not so nice and the food at the beach was terrible even though it was so expensive . If you have a big family then the best to walk out from the Hotel and hire somebody with a minibus to drive you around ; it can be cheaper than renting a car or a van .
the hotel room (2 bedroom suit) was specious with big swimming pool and good kitchen facilities, ideal for families with infants and kids. location is quite far and you need to spend at least 1000 bhat to go out to any mainstream place. there is a shuttle service free from hotel, but that will take you to a small area (rocky beach, so canot enter the neach) with few sitting joints. the service is horrible, cannot underdstand english at all. in one incident, we went up to the roof top restaurant and asked for butter for the baby. it took them 30 min to bring butter from down stairs kitchen. i will recommend this hotel only to families with kid away from the local hurdle. but be prepared to get poor service and pay for transport. my over all rating will mbe 3.5/5

Great hotel
The receptionist at the counter was really really helpful, friendly and pleasant.
The only demerit is that the elevators were all out of order and not designed to the required convenvenience to the hotel guest as expected.
The breakfast could be improved by having more different varieties of food. It was the same every morning.
Otherwise it could be a great hotel to everyone.
Staff need training in customer service, they think that saying Sorry the problem is solved. I will consider other option in Phuket. Definitively Im not returning to this hotel in the future.
This hotel was a pleasant stay, although a bit far from the main attractions that phuket has to offer. Staff were friendly and always on hand if needed. Breakfast menu was a little disappointing, but overall, it's a nice place to stay if you just want to relax in a quieter part of Phuket. A huge thank you to our driver, Mr Bu.
Even though the language was a barrier, they were very accomodating. The hotel layout is a little spreadout, far from the main lobby and dinning room but the rooms had an amazing view!!
The hotel was terrific ...full kitchen and nice bathroom. Some of the staff spoke English and it was helpful when arranging transportation. The hotel is not near any beach. They will shuttle you but it is near the port of Phuket. If you are doing activities in the town or want to visit Cape Panwea this is a good location for a night.
We had a great time. The hotel was quiet but close enough to major points of interest to keep everyone happy

Cape Panwa - Bel Air resort
Hotel - quite nice
Rooms - big and comfortable enough
The private plunge pool room was big but absolutely no view on level 2. Felt like it was in a car park. I would think the higher level sea view rooms might be better but the view from the pool deck area has what looks to be like oil storage tanks and a water tower with glimpses of sea around.
Restaurant - disappointed in Thai food selection. I have never seen turkey so prominent in any menu. Caterered well to western food
Staff - competent and pleasant
Wi-Fi - although my reservation through Hotels.com stated free wireless in the description next to room type, the hotel insisted it is only free in the hotel lobby and pool deck area, so I had to pay to have wi-fi in the actual room. The "pay as you go" wi-fi rort by hotels continues - skim the cream from the customer. An overall wireless connection payable by the hotel to an ISP is surely included in the overall room cost, especially when it is a fact that there are usually quite a few guests in the hotel at any given time all contributing room charges.
Location - extremely quiet. Whilst I thought that it would be good being in a part of Phuket that is quieter than Patong, I did not realise just how quiet. There is nothing to be found at Cape Panwa. Made me feel captive to the hotel room.
This location is probably best for honeymooners.
It is not really a good family destination unless you want your kids screaming how bored they are.

little far from main town
staff do not know how to speak english hotel staff need to learn english
Very nice hotel. We had a very nice apartment nice furnitured. They have a free shuttle to their very beatiful private beach. The best hotel in all our trip. Good service with both pooltowels and beachtowels at the spot.
My partner and I spent just under two weeks at the Bel Air and loved every minute of it. We stayed in the two room, plunge pool suite and loved it. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful doing everything they could to ensure we had a great stay.
The hotel is about 30min from Phuket town or around one hour from Patong which we had no issues with, as we wanted a quiet location and had a hire car to get around.
The prices of food and drink at the hotel are good with half price cocktails between 4pm and 7pm making them about $2.50 AUS.
The hotel beach club is about a 5 min drive from the hotel in a really nice beach cove. The Hotel staff will drive you there and back. You can get the same food and drink at the beach club as the hotel for the same prices.
Over all we had a great time at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice quiet hotel with everything you would want.
Nice & quite place if you're looking for a chill out location. Recommended to rent a car to easy travel coz hotel fre shuttle takes u oni to heir exclusive private beach & within 1km radius.
Lets start with the good. There are two bedrooms in each room. There is a nice 80-100 meter pool on the lower level. Free parking. Thats the good.
The bad. "Free internet" consists of a 100 baht ($3) internet card. Was assigned a room - front desk woman said something to the effect that I didn't deserve that room - so she assigned me another room. We went to the room and it was the absolute furthest away from the car park that you could be..... and it wasn't even made up! So carry all my stuff back to the lobby while she takes her time finding a different room. After about 15 minutes I get the room next to the spa.... which I can smell in the bedroom.
The main air conditioner leaked when it was on - huge puddle of water on the floor. The next day I point this out and after a guy comes and looks at the water I'm told - "don't use this conditioner!". Yeah - its about 37 degrees celcius but I don't need an air conditioner.
Room had paint missing on cabinets, balcony had broken down furniture. Breakfast was ok but thats being generous - some days no glasses - other days no bowls - you get the picture. I asked that our room be made in the morning as we go out in the morning and return mid-afternoon. EVERY day but one they made the room after 3pm!
If you absolutely have to stay here make sure you get a car - otherwise you'll spend a fortune on the taxi mafia to get anywhere.
Staff were very good, very obliging.
There is an inconvienience if staying in the bottom units near entrance. To access lobby ,spa, restaurant, pool/bar, kids play area, you have to climb 3 floors of steep stairs on the outsie of the building, especially if it is raining.

Disappointed
This hotel should not be rated 4 stars, we were quite disappointed with the stay. It took us an hour to drive there by taxi from the airport (the website says 40 minutes) and when we arrived, the baby bed was not ready in our room and our infant was already asleep. We had to wait over 30 minutes to get the baby bed and when my husband called down to the reception, they hung up on him TWICE! The hallways would be flooded after a night of rain, the breakfast food was reheated from the day before, there were bugs everywhere, so we had to keep food in the refrigerator. The pool was ok and the rooms were clean. We booked here specifically because it had 2 rooms, so we could eat dinner and watch tv after the baby had gone to sleep, but next time we would find somewhere closer to the airport and with better customer service. I would not recommmend anyone to stay here. We stayed before at Indigo Pearl in Phuket and that resort is WAY better. If you are going, stay there!

Far from a resort &spa. Never go back again.
Check in they wanted to charge me extra for my child who doesn't even go to school yet. I never had a problem like this at the other hotels I was staying at. The staffs' English is extremely poor. I asked them where I could go to buy some drinks, snacks, and fruits. They told me to take the shuttle which took me to the beach. So, we headed back and then they told this driver to take us to a little mini mart that I am pretty sure is owned my the hotel owner because of the distance. They could have told us to just walk outside the hotel and there was a little place next to it. At check in this lady had complained about the A/C not working and she had called the day before and no one had fixed it. I had the same problem when I got to my room. I had to go to the lobby the next morning to tell them again so someone would fix it. The guy didn't even knock and just walked in which scared my son. Getting to the lobby and to breakfast was a hassle because it was on the other side and there was a steep slope. It makes it difficult if you have children especially a baby. They also did not have an elevator and I had to climb up the third floor with my kids. I asked for a crib for my baby and they said they had none left and would call me the next day. They never did, I had to call two days later from when I originally called. The guy that brought it in didn't even set it up, he just left it outside the door. I had to push it myself into the room. Far from resort and spa
