Please beware of fraudulent practices and false advertisement!!!! I want to provide a summary of my experience so no one else deals with this. I booked a stay for 2 nights and 3 days. I decided to upgrade and book the SunClub which is their “VIP” members only program and includes “upgraded amenities”. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON SUN CLUB. It is not as advertised. The only promised upgrade was the separate check in and checkout. The pool on sunclub is small, no one at the bar to serve, no special sunclub bar as promised and the beach on that side is extremely rocky and crowded as they are clearly overselling falsities. The beach at the rest of the hotel us not as rocky, the mainpool is huge and has multiple bars way better than the upgrade. Second , I was placed in a room in a different section of the hotel that was not located at the sunclub building. When I complained multiple times each employee LIED indicting that it was an upgrade. However based on my research the room they placed me in was smaller and cost less than the one I paid for. Not only that but the air conditioning DID NOT WORK. I went down to inform them of this and they indicated they would send someone and had to wait an hour to have someone tell me they can’t fix it. They were unable to move my room at the time so I requested a fan to get me through. Using a fan to sleep in an all inclusive upgraded room is CRAZY. Aside from this there were bugs and little geicos in the room, the bathroom sink drain did not

Disappointed. The room we were given did not look like the room we purchased and paid a little extra for. We expected a more spacious room with a king bed. Our room was a basic hotel room that needed renovations. The only good thing was that we were 1st floor and our patio stepped right onto the beach. Perfect since my husband ended up on crutches days before our trip. Food was average at best and the same options every day. Most food was overcooked. However, 4 days after arrival we found the Oceana. Food was made to order fresh and not overcooked. Limited options but so much better. The staff was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. The onsite spa was amazing. Entertainment was good. Appreciated the local crafter being onsite one day. The best part was the location on the island and the beach. The water was absolutely stunning and picturesque. Pictures do not do it justice.

The rooms were bad, 1 room had only hot running water in ahower and no cold water, AC did not work , the other room had a constant toilet leak which was address twice but never fixed , AC did not work as aell, we could not control the AC it was to cold for us to sleep

Our stay at Sunscape was a good experience. We usually go to Sandals but did this vacation with some friends. I think Sandals does things better but for the difference in price, Sunscape did a great job. We did the upgrade to the sun club which we felt was worth it as it had a pool and bar just for sun club members along with a private section of the beach. The beach is wonderful!! Loved having the break wall so there was calm water to swim. The staff was great and very friendly (shoutout to Nathalie for being such a great server). The food was good, although somewhat limited in the number of restaurants (one was closed for renovation). Scuba Diving was fantastic and the dive staff was helpful and very pleasant. (Luis was great to work with and VERY patient). Only negative was our AC unit didn't cool very well but was workable. I understand there will always be issues so it wasn't a big one. All in all, I would recommend Sunscape as a good value and would return again.

The staff was amazing the beach was beautiful they had activities planned everyday we went to turtle beach it wasnt as great but the resort and the staff were amazing would recommend eating at roses downtown also its delicious. Really the staff at the resort and the people of the island make it memorable.

We traveled in a big group. 3 of the couples, my self included were celebrating anniversaries and our oldest son was coming along for the festivities. At check in we get our room assigned and key. We get to the room and it is super HOT! My hubby immediately went down stairs to complain. They told him they knew about the problem and it should be fixed by 4pm-6pm. Our son's room was also very hot and he said im not staying in that room. He went to the front desk they told him the same thing. At 6pm they both go back up to the front desk, they tell them 9 pm. Finally at 9 pm my husband at this point was mad and demanded to change rooms. They moved us with the condition that we move back to our assigned room the next day and they let us keep the keys to the hot room. My husband said no and refused and gave them the keys. He told them that we were not moving. That is not how we wanted o spend our 1st day, specially after traveling all day. However they refused to move my son. Our son refused to stay in that room because it was so hot. He ended up sleeping in our room. Keep in mind that we were celebrating our anniversary and he wanted to have his own privacy. Which he did not get. The resort has alot of good things. The beach is absolutely beautiful. The events at night were great. Something diffrent every night. The pools were nice and kept cleaned the only problem is they closed the pools at 6pm. The housekeeper was amazing. The island is beautiful. Overall we had fun.

Its Ok for 1-2 Days . Property is old but clean and quite. long beach so you always have a beach view. There was 1 ea restaurant in renovation but that is also reason why there were sometimes lines at the bar. Overhaul was Ok the kids enjoyed the swimming pool and beach.

This was my second stay at this property. The staff is great! Property itself is very clean. This is an older resort, the rooms need to be completely updated. Food is good. The beach is amazing, pools are nice and clean. The location is a 10 minute taxi ride to downtown Willamstad.

I did not have the experience I'd expected because I did not receive the room I'd booked nor the upgrade I was offered and paid additional for. My room was NOT as described, no king nor double queen beds, no beach access from the ground floor, and barely an ocean view as it was covered by the fence and bushes (usually referred to as "garden view"). As soon as we got to the room, I'd gone back to the "Sun Club" to advise we had been given the wrong room. For 4 hours, the staff and management pretended to be correcting the problem only to later tell me the property was fully booked and I would not be given the room I'd booked and paid for. I'd tried to make the best of my trip however, some of the staff wasnt friendly, the restaurant staff was rude with the exception of a few people, the food was mediocre, and none of this helped the initial problem. I was so disappointed.
