This is our property of choice any time we visit Williamsburg. Lobby was very crowded on check in day and only one staff member assisting guests. Other than that the stay was wonderful as usual.

Instructions in general lacking - had to figure out Wi-Fi, did not know if we needed to remove trash, etc. QR code led to not really helpful information. Did not care for amenities versus forced talk choice at all. $84 is a LOT, when we did not use amenities at all. Cdve done without the two flights of stairs. Checkout was easy.

Showed up at 10 pm. It took about 12 to 15 minutes to actually check in. When we got to the room, it was dirty, as in it had already been used and not cleaned. Then it took another 12 to 15 minutes to get another room. The staff didn't seem to show any care. It was a contrast to the promos on the screen in the lobby showing the hotels smiling staff and smiling customer faces.

We stayed in a 2 bed 2 bath unit. It was large and comfortable. The kitchen and other rooms were clean except the tub in the en suite bathroom. Laundry, we didn’t use as we were only there 2 nights, but it was an up to date washer/dryer combo unit in the unit. Will stay here again.

The first room was smokey and unlocked. I literally gasped for air. Very unacceptable and should not have been assigned. The second room was musty, but thankful for Febreeze. The cleaning grew left a brush on the console, not good.

Family friendly, beautiful grounds and pool. It was a bit away from historic area but wonderful services about 2 mikes away. It was a car dependent resort so you need a car to do activities beyond the resort.
