This hotel was super convenient to the Sakuragicho and Hinodecho stations.
It was clean and had nice complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby. It is a great place if you are visiting Yokohmama for a few days.
Just an FYI, you can hear the train from your room.
Room was clean, staff were very helpful, and even upgraded our room when we told them that we ended up paying twice due to our booking error dates. We would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family.
Loved the hotel except for the bathroom. Very high step to enter bathroom then an extremely high and deep bathtub with NO safety rails.
Tub so deep 3 of 4 people in the booking could not shower the one night we stayed. We had requested walk in showers in both rooms at time of booking. Also hotel did not have a bar only a coffee lounge which was very good.
Hotel room and staff was excellent. But if your room is facing train track you might not be able to sleep well even though hotel provide complimentary ear plug. Expedia website also did not update on the train track noise when I confirm my booking. Overall staff service was excellent. Buffet breakfast variety was good except 2 issue, baked fish slice have lot of bones and singapore laksa taste non authentic. Better to get singapore ready make laksa sauce pack to create actual taste of singapore laksa.
Really great stay. The room was clean and surprisingly spacious for Japan, maybe the advantage of being in Yokohama rather than Tokyo. I did not try the breakfast, but as a simple and comfortable place to crash for the night it was perfect. The area felt fairly quiet the evening I was there, though I may not have explored enough to find more nightlife. Overall a very good experience and great value.
I made a booking on Expedia and paid for it prior to arriving to the hotel. As service is usually very good in Japan, I expected it to be a decent service.
Upon arrival, this non-japanese lady staff checking me in, doesn't thoroughly check the bookings and tells me I don't have a booking. I freaked out because no booking means I will have to look for a place to crash for the night if I don't have this place booked. After insisting her to look thoroughly, she did find my booking. It ended up this lady didn't thoroughly check and spoke too soon. She doesn't apologize for that at all and blames that it was my fault for not having confirmation #. She should not have told me I don't have a booking but rather ask me to hold while she looks for it. It caused me Great anxiety.
I complained to her that she freaked me out for no reason. She was not apologetic at all. I was upset and didn't sit right all day so I waited till next morning and complained to a manager. He apologized for such an incident and said he will have the staff train on the matter. But when I passed by the same lady, she just gave me a snotty look!!!
This hotel is not Japanese owned but rather foreign company. It reflects to the level of service provided. If you expect decent service that you get in Japan , I suggest you go somewhere else. I am not staying here again!!!
Very satisfied, and for the price is amazing deal. Our stay was terrific close to everything from train station, restaurant, shopping center and the Yokohama park. The front desk were very accommodating especially Mr Kenichiro Yabu for doing a wonderful service (thank you).
