Location was good. A tram just outside the hotel. Need more plugs for chargers and stuff. No kettle, no microwave, no fridge in room. Very tight room. Shower has very little privacy. Hard to change properly after showering, especially if you’re traveling with friends, or even family members. Toilet seat is sooo high, barely touching the floor if you’re sitting on it. The upper bed, hard to climb up for an adult. No plugs on that bund bed. Breakfast was not that great for 15 euro. Coffee was too watered down. But location for public transportation is excellent. Restaurant not much around the area. There’s a grocery close by but closes early, Sunday close.

We had a pleasant stay at this ibis budget hotel. Some people may be put off by the hotel's 1 star rating, however that doesn’t reflect the quality of the hotel. It’s very cosy, the rooms are modern and comfortable and if you don’t mind the shower and sink being in the same room as the bed then it is perfect hotel in a budget.

If you value comfort and amenities, this is not the place for you. The room is very small. The weak AC couldn't keep it cooled down. The shower is in the room, not separate. The water closet was one step up from an outhouse. The door was thinner than cardboard and didn't fully close. The room had one outlet for use. The pillows were small and flat. They take the word "budget" to a whole new level. I booked one night, thinking it wouldn't be too bad, but I was wrong.

They ancelled my booking on their own

This hotel cancelled my reservation bon their own and told this to me on my arrival. Imagine... Next they booked me in another ibis away from city ..and now they are asking about my stay... Funny. You cancelled my booking without telling me and now asking for my stay ....

Great price and location

The Ibis is across the street from the city Tram and very easy to find and access. The hotel states that if you come early, you will have to pay 30 Swiss francs extra to check in to your room but our hotel clerk let us go to our room 2 hours early without any extra fees. The room is small and sterile with no chairs. The toilet is connected to the wall and is quite high up; sitting on it my 6'4" husband could only touch his toes to the floor; you can imagine my situation at only 5' tall! The pillows were quite flat and only one per bed. A good value at $171 US dollars for a one night stay but would choose another if staying for any longer period of time.

The high toilet is ridiculous and people were yelling outside the window all night. And there wasn’t enough food for breakfast in the morning when it was busy. I would never stay there again
