Das Hotel ist super gut gelegen. Rund hm das Hotel kann man gut Essen und Einkaufen. Das Warmwasser im Hotel stank extrem, das WC Papier war sehr schlecht. Die Betten waren bei unserer Ankunft auseinandergestellt. Das Hotelpersonal so wie auch das Personal im Restaurant bemüht sich einen guten Service zu erbringen. Das Personal ist ziemlich sicher kein ausgebildetes Personal. Das Frühstückbuffet war sehr vielfältig und Fein. Die Hygienemassnahmen werden von Seiten Hotel gut eingehalten. Leider von den Hotelgästen (vorallem einheimische) nicht wirklich. Wir haben das Hotel wegen dem Standort und der guten Bewertung gewählt. Wir würden beim nächsten mal nicht wieder soviel geld für diesen Service Standart bezahlen.

Das Hotel liegt super zentral am Fuße der Kirche. Während es von außen einen ganz guten Eindruck sind die Betten und besonders das Badezimmer im Hotelzimmer sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Zum Schlafen reicht es. Das oft gelobte Frühstück ist für den Preis und selbst gewählten Standard des Hotels inakzeptabel: das Rührei ist aus der Tüte, es gibt im Hochsommer Fruchtcocktail zum Müsli. Das habe ich außerhalb billiger Motels noch nirgends erlebt. Ich würde dieses Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen!

Unser Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Die Zimmer sind sehr grosszügig gestaltet und gut ausgestattet. Besonders das Bad hat uns gefallen. Das Zimmer war sauber und auch der allgemeine Teil des Hotels war sehr gepflegt. Leider verfügt das Hotel nur über wenige Parkplätze.

Good service with a great location. The hotel itself and rooms were OK but they were a bit outdated. Breakfast was excellent.

Zentral gelegenes Hotel ...

Cons: die zentrale Lage ist ideal und perfekt um die Kirche und das Städtchen zu erkunden
Location: guter Ausgangsort um im Norden erforschen
... das in die Jahre gekommen ist. Für isländische Verhältnisse ist es gut. Für Festland Verhältnis, eher im unteren Bereich. Das Hotel ist in die Jahr gekommen und die Teppiche sollten ausgewechselt werden. Spannend ist es in der Bar zu sitzen und die ankommenden Gäste zu beobachten.

Location: Hotelli sijaitsee aivan keskellä Akureyriä. Lähistöllä on useita hyviä ravintoloita sekä kauppoja
