Nice Hotel for chilling out but .............

Pros: The location/gardens/cleanliness. They also take health and safety seriously with a lifeguard with full medical facilities working each day.
Cons: The restaurant / FOOD. Needs to be better quality
Location: Next to a national park, nearest beach one mile Son Bou
The hotel is situated about a mile from Son Bou next to a national park. Lovely quiet location. The gardens are immaculately maintained. The room (Superior Junior Suite) was spacious and immaculate. The daily cleaner was very efficient. The king size bed was really comfortable. It is an Apart Hotel so we had a kitchen which proved useful. A supermarket adjoins the hotel which was handy although we were half board. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. It is a 4 star hotel. So what is the down side ? Whilst appreciating that FOOD is subjective we thought the food was sub standard for a 4 star hotel. It is served buffet style and like some other hotels we have stayed in it is difficult to keep food hot. Most of it was cold or at best luke warm, rarely hot. The (cold) desserts were however nice. If issues in the restaurant could be improved then this hotel could become a 5 star. A pity about the food. The entertainment was low key but Marco the Entertainments Manager was a gem. Also give praise to Moya Anibal who worked in the restaurant and bar. l

Das war wundervoll: Wir hatten Zimmer 404 mit Meerblick und Gesamtblick über die Anlage. Weiter unten möchte ich nicht sein.
