We saw hot air balloons from our balcony each morning. How fun! The hotel is clean, comfortable, and the staff are very courteous. Highly recommend.

A Grand Dame of Accommodations

This is an older property, but well kept on the outside and the surrounding grounds are also manicured. The garden patio could make for a great breakfast area if exploited for that use. One elevator to the tower is very slow to open. Almost like watching paint dry. The rooms are adequately sized. Bathrooms have been renovated. The beds are platform framed. This is low to the ground and lack a boxspring. The sides stick out and you can bang the side of your foot or your leg getting in and out. Mattresses also seemed well used. I like this hotel because it has character and many pictures of Albuquerque in its western days. It kind of reminds me of the Orleans in Vegas, an older property with good bones. A quick breakfast bar with simple egg sandwiches and coffee in the morning would also be a convenience. Onsite valet parking is a plus. And friendly staff. A few changes as mentioned would make it a better stay. Proximity to old town and Sawmill market make it a good walking area. I would stay again.

Went to eat at Garduños and chose to eat from the buffet. They auto-grated me 20% immediately for a buffet?! Then they closed the pool because of rain, but it only was raining for 20 minutes, but they still kept it closed all night. Then upon check out, they hit me with a sneaky “amenity fee” $53 ! They said it’s for coffee in the lobby, and bottled waters and internet. What a rip off. Not going to book this hotel ever again.

Want to stay in a mosh pit? I understand that they make alot of money off of weddings. I did not agree to hours of loud music that I did not chose to come in through my window. We have stayed here before but never again.

Very friendly staff, clean room, plenty of parking except the first night when the hotel was hosting a prom. Overall positive experience, would recommend. It would be nice if tea was offered alongside coffee in the lobby, and if there would be an afternoon coffee service. Thanks to the staff for always being friendly and helpful!

I love staying at Hotel Albuquerque. The building itself is special, the staff friendly and attentive. The gift shop offers a wide variety of regional items to buy at reasonable prices. The nearby Sawmill Market offers a fun place to eat and drink. Old Town is a walkable distance and a must. The highway is nearby but far enough to not be heard.

A stay in Albuquerque

The hotel is in a nice location and offers guests the taste of Southwest. It is in walking distance of the Sawmill Market, which is a great place to eat and drink. Reasonably priced.

The hot water took too long to get our 11th floor faucet. I felt guilty wasting so much water just to shave. Other than that, it was a beautiful place to stay!
