It was listed as airport hotel it’s miles from the airport and you have to get a taxi costing 15 to 20 euro each way while they do have a travel lodge much closer to airport with shuttle which is not called airport

Hottest Day of the year (or at least like it)

Pros: The location was close to the Airport.
Cons: Air conditioning in rooms.
Location: There was a takeaway, a supermarket and pub nearby which we did investigate.
Me and my girlfriend arrived on June 21st in the evening time we checked in and went up to the room.The room was fine a standard room with a window view which was nice.The only problem was that the window could not open more than a couple of centimeters and when my girlfriend inquired about opening the door.The lady who was helpful at check-in told her that they didn't have a key to open door and there was no A/C and we could not change room as they were booked out.So we decided to go out to pick some things up and get some fresh air and then we came back to the room and it was like a sauna the air didn't circulate very well and it felt like the hottest day of the year.After a while my girlfriend called down again and a nice chap came up and tried to open the window, perhaps he knew a way to open it?!He tried but with not much luck but to his credit he went away to find a screwdriver a solution to prizing open the window.So we waited for a few minutes and when he knocked back on the door he came back with a fan which was sweet relief as we were told previous to that all the guests had taken them. In the end we were happy with the outcome and that he could do something for us as my girlfriend had to be up early for a flight the next morning and we needed as much rest as possible.Most of the time of the year the windows wouldn't be a problem as it is not too warm in Ireland but that evening felt like a scorcher and the need for fresh air was important.

Very nice hotel

Excellent place to stay great staff 10 out of 10 local shops near by local transport only 30 minutes by bus to dublin city centre what else can I say wicked location to stay defiantly staying here next time I vist dublin.

Nice hotel close to Airport.

Location: Not much to do in area.
Pleasant overnight stay convenient for early morning flight. Excellent shuttle bus times to Airport.

Ticks most of the boxes !

Location: Very convenient location, halfway between airport and city centre, frequent buses nearby. Easy access to Dublin without sky high city centre prices.
Reception staff were friendly and helpful; I arrived before check-in time but there was no problem getting the room immediately. The room was large, light, bright and sunny, overlooking the green (ask for an even numbered room). Breakfast was quite good, reasonably priced; and the staff were friendly. I noticed that the ancient 4:3 TV had few channels, especially radio, and several channels had frozen pictures or no signal, but I hate most TV so this didn't bother me. The only potential drawback was that there was no air conditioning or forced ventilation, and I suspect this could be a problem in hot weather: it's normally very quiet, but at night there might be occasional traffic noise if your room is at the front and you have to leave the window open to stay cool. I'd certainly consider it again.
