The AC is controlled by the hotel and it's not possible to control it. The heat is on and the only way to get it to cool down is by opening the window, but the noise on the street won't let you sleep. Breakfast is average.

The staff were friendly, very professional and always helpful. I loved the breakfast particularly as there were many options for maintaining a low cholesterol healthy diet as well as the many other delicious but more cholesterol laden options. Good coffee is easy to find in Spain, but the coffee in the Avenida is excellent.

Room as tired and a bit tatty, no separate shower, staff were generally unwelcoming and occasionally rude particularly at breakfast, no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, WiFi was so poor we ended up using our mobile data.
