Quirky Little Hotel with Fantastic Sea Views

We loved our stay in this gem of a hotel. With only six rooms, the service is friendly and personal. We found the staff very helpful and friendly, they gave advice on local travel and amenities as well as going out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We stayed in two rooms which had no windows but the frosted glass doors allow the light in. The murals on the walls where unique and really added to the character of the hotel. The rooms were clean, although the grouting in the showers would benifit from being renewed. The breakfasts were limited but very tasty, we loved the fresh butter croissant's and enjoyed some bread with a small choice of meat and cheese, there was a limited choice of cereals and various teas. There was some fruit available too. The coffees were great! My husband loved the cappuccinos. The hotel was situated at short bus ride from Amalfi, where we caught buses to other local places of interest . The hotel is an ideal location to visit Capri, Pogerola and Ravello. The private beach is breathtaking. It is a stony beach surrounded by cliffs. There are over 400 steps down to the beach, so it is quite a climb. A couple of times we caught the half hourly boat from the beach to Amalfi which takes about five minutes or so. It costs two euros and is a lovely little trip. We were picked up by the taxi to go to the airport during the afternoon. The only issue was that once you have checked out there was no toilet facilities available.
