The hotel was clean and attractive. Would have liked coffee in the room. They didn't have our room ready when we checked in after an 18 hour trip and we were extremely tired. After the 3rd attempt to get a room the desk clerk got us upgraded to a family room so we could get some sleep. Very much appreciated.

OK for overnight layover

The hotel itself is fine for an overnight layover, but the cleaning staff did not remove the previous guest’s trash. This makes me wonder about the cleanliness of the rest of the room and amenities.

Great stay and very helpful and friendly staff. Would have been a 10/10 but the curtains don’t keep out sunlight very well and even on the lowest setting, the AC ends up being very loud and disruptive when one is trying to sleep.

We stayed here on the last day of our Europe tour, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing way to end an otherwise great trip. The hotel feels quite old, and our room was really small. We had a sofa bed set up for our son, but it was terrible — he couldn’t sleep at all. The mattress was so thin you could feel every metal bar underneath. Super uncomfortable. There was also this weird cabinet in the corner of the room that took up way too much space but didn’t seem useful at all. The carpets felt dirty, and the hallways had a strong, unpleasant smell the whole time we were there. We’ve stayed at other Ibis hotels in Amsterdam and had a much better experience. They usually offer free hot water and coffee throughout the day, but here you had to pay for even that. Overall, we wouldn’t stay here again. It just didn’t meet our expectations, especially compared to other Ibis locations.
