Extra charges for an early arrival was extremely out of normal as the hotel directly next door, The Sheraton Schipol has never charged me an early arrival fee. Very disappointed and was not disclosed at the time of my booking. I am a member of the Hilton loyalty club and they still charged the fee... i travel regularly to amsterdam, but will be sure never to stay at the Hilton Schipol again

Everything was perfect! The hotel and room were very clean. The food was amazing. Getting from the airport to the hotel was all undercover and about a 7 minute walk. The executive room with lounge access was superb and the complimentary food and drinks from 5-7pm were fantastic. The staff are brilliant especially in the lounge area. Very easy access to the centre of Amsterdam. The only negative is that someone had set the alarm clock for 05.30 and we didn’t need to be out if the hotel until 11.30 so it was an early start…..if you stay here, check your alarm clock in your room.

At check in we were given keys which did not work. We went back down they recharged the keys and it worked but we woke up someone sleeping! Went back down, they apologized profusely and give us a voucher saying we could order anything from the bar. In our room, the curtains did not close completely. Fortunately we had clothes pins with us and solved the problem. Curtains had black marks left from previous guests who used black tape to close them. We stayed at the same hotel 3 weeks prior and had concerns. Beds were comfortable and clean. Location is very good if you do not mind the 10min indoor walk once in Schiphol terminal.

A convenient option at Amsterdam Airport. Not quite as close to the terminal as the Sheraton, but still an easy undercover walk. The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious and exactly as it looked in photos. We were disappointed with the service and the extra fees - specifically being asked to pay EUR50 for an early check in (12.30pm, so not really that early) when our room was ready. Not something I have ever found at another Hilton or comparable hotel.
