Not what I expected

First impressions are everything and when you wait at the airport for 45 min and the shuttle doesn't come that is not good. They had a time table hanging and three of the times it should have been there it didn't, so I had to take a taxi which cost 35 euros. The room was very small and had a weird kinda musty smell. It was VERY basic and felt more like a youth hostile than a hotel. The pillows were not comfortable either. I was surprised I had to pay 2.75 just for a very small cup of coffee in the morning and there wasn't any kind of coffee makers in the room. I have NEVER stayed anywhere that didn't have coffee and tea in the room. I paid $112 for my room and expected more. I have spent less than $89 for hotel rooms and gotten more.

We enjoyed having the shuttle bus to and from the airport on a regular schedule which made our stay in Amsterdam so much easier especially when the trains went on strike. the breakfast buffet was enjoyable and good options available. Found not being able to pay by cash a little frustrating especially for small purchases but otherwise very happy with our choice and would stay again if ever we are in Amsterdam again

Enjoyed the stay at this property, which we booked for one night after returning to Amsterrdam from Spain prior to returning to Australia the following day. The room was small (which we could see from the Expedia listing) but had everything we needed for a one night stay. It was clean, well maintained and comfortable. It has a free and regular shuttle to and from the airport (which was a key factor for us in selecting it). The hotel is a short walk from a bus interchange which can take you into the centre of Amsterdam. Would highly recommend.

great price. We asked for no service however one day we came back and they had changed sheets and stuff. we felt so violated. The manager I think his name was Abdi but he was great and helped us get compensated. He apologized and really helped and made things right.
