Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Borgata. It has a reputation for being a high end hotel and casino and I can't dispute that it is. Hotel Pros: Easy check-out process via the Borgata app or the television in your room. Large rooms, more than enough towels, mini fridge, extensive dinning choices. Hotel Cons: The rooms are dimly lit. I've never seen a room this void of lighting sources! There were also limited outlets for electronics; one that a lamp was plugged into, one in the bathroom for the hair dryer, and one on the bedside lamp. The lack of outlets explains the lack of lighting. Casino Pros: Clean, inviting, plenty of visible attendants to offer assistance, designated smoking sections. Casino Cons: Designated smoking sections. Naturally, the smoke wafts through the air an and fills the non-smoking areas as well. My party and I were approached by a representative offering a $45 promotion if we were to fund our BET MGM accounts with $20. Sounded great! As we downloaded the app and set up our accounts, he continually reiterated how we could use the funds to play any table or slots game. What he neglected to tell us until after we funded our accounts, was that the funds could only be used to play online games via the app. He should have led with that information. We were not the only customers surprised that the promotional amount was not loaded on to our players card. Very misleading. All in all, a nice, clean, modern hotel and casino. I would stay here again.

When we arrived, we had originally booked a different room, but we’re offered to upgrade to the stay well sweet in the newly renovated MGM tower. It was amazing great view great day. The casino was awesome. The food was great and we also visited the pool on premises. We look forward to our next stay!
