My son and I checked in at normal check-in time. 3pm. By the time we got to our room it was 5pm. We wanted to work out but found out the gym closed at 6pm. For a large hotel and late check-in time this is ridiculous. You get better access at a Holiday Inn. In addition the pool/hot tubs closed at 6pm as well. And they don't open until 10 am. Unfortunately we had to work the next day and leave by 8:30. By the time we returned from work it was 4pm and we changed for the gym and were told it was closing. A total waste to stay here. We stayed specifically because the gym and pool looked beautiful. This was WAY over priced for just a bed and a shower....that is all we got. We don't gamble. No local movies.. Check-out was terrible. I went to retrieve our car and they blocked off the pick up area except for ubers. So my son had to walk up the street to meet the car with all our luggage. If my handicap mother was with us, it would have been a disaster! So very disappointed with the accommodations at the Hard Rock.

Expensive but not trashy

The North Tower room was nice and the bathroom was large. I enjoyed the two sided desk so we could both work if needed. The check in line was loooong, but we got in earlier than expected to the room which was nice. Front desk lady was very nice. I didn't mind the walk to the North elevators, kind of filtered out the riff raff. Everything inside the casino is super expensive. we paid 18$ for 2 small bottles of water and a small bottle of orange juice. Breakfast sandwich was 15? prices not shown on anything so always a surprise. Food was good though, so only slightly mad about it. The resort fee was high since we didn't use anything resort like, and they then tax you on top of it - which ends up being 45$. A little steep on top of everything else. Self Parking is 20$

Inside of the bathroom the lock to the door was broken, the sink was clogged and the toilet paper holder was broken. On the first day of our stay the cleaning lady came and opened our door without knocking the first time wasn’t able to get in because of the set front door security lock. But then she tried to open our door again not even 30 minutes later, deeply confusing us in the room. There was also a plastic bag on the smoke detector.
