We always stay at the Tropicana but this time we experienced very long wait times for elevators and to get out of the parking garage. I feel like there is not enough elevators and there is always a huge wait. Also, the casino here is definitely rigged

My family and i stood at tropicana for the weekend. Upon arrival everything seem nice then we checked in and It took us an hour and a 1/2 to find our room, staff just sent us our way with no form of direction..we were back and forth going up and down elevators until we finally got on the right elevator. To get to the rooms at the chelsea towers you need to take about 3 different elevators and ontop of that there were 2 elevators that were not working! We had to take the stairs plenty of times with a wagon stroller and stroller after waiting over 20 mins for the elevators numerous of times throughout our stay. The stairs were scary, filthy and smelled like pee! The hotel doesn't seem safe at all anyone can walk in and go up to the rooms.. Not once did i see a security guard asked me for proof to go up to the rooms like other hotels ive stayed at do. The room was nice but could be cleaned better. My family and i stayed at many different hotels here at ac and this was the worst experience by far. Oh and the family pool was closed and it said it was open on the website. To eat at the restaurants or go to the adult pool you need to have reservations or wont be able to go in unlesss there's space. The ac wasnt working in one of the rooms we got and house keeping wont come to your room unless you call them to.

I enjoyed all the shopping, food, experiences that the hotel offers, however the rooms appear old, there was a hole in my sheet, holes in the dresser. For over $400 for one night, I would expect a better looking room.

This place is just run down and gross. When we checked in there was no iron or ironing board in our room... while waiting an hour for one, we found a cockroach in our sink. Got a new room... wasn't much better. There was a hairball with dirt in it on the floor in the hallway outside our room the entire stay. You have to pay to sit in a freaking chair at the pool. $25 parking... 30 min wait at the elevators... you're so much better off paying a little more and staying somewhere nicer.

Un pleasant experience at the Tropicana hotel

Un pleasant experience. We literally had To beg for a room cleaning and fresh towels. We have had difficulties to open and close The safe and requested assistance, unfortunately it took 28 hour for a technician To visit our room and to fix the problem. Big disappointment!!!

I didn’t like the room and the hotel because it was outdated and it was dirty. The hallways carpet was filthy. The bathroom was updated. The showers were small. The toilet was dirty looking. TV screen was too dark not much selection of channels and it smelled so bad in the room and the hallways that we had to leave early. We will not be coming back to the Tropicana. To get up to our room you have to get online a huge line for the elevators. And the room was overpriced did not worth the money at all. I would not recommend this hotel.
