Beds are excellent w comfy beds and pillows. The heater didn’t seem to work but yet the fan motor was noisy. There had been some repair in ceiling w plaster, paste or paint and the remnants are still there uncleaned. The floors and carpets in rooms could be better as well as the common areas eg hallways and stairs. The bkfst buffet is decent w very good pastries! We’ve stayed here over the years many times and would so again. Choose side away from the freeway.

No shampoo

My stays at the double tree in Bakersfield are usually uneventful. Which is a good thing. This time I was a little disappointed there wasn’t any shampoo or shower gel in the shower.
