I like it I stay every Monday for work but the Blankets could use an up grade and the pillows are half the size of a normal pillow besides that staff are great and the place is clean and it’s in a good location. I will 100% be back every week like always

Beautiful, quaint hotel with friendly and welcoming staff. Walking distance to shops and amenities. Dog friendly and beautiful walks, park and river to relax and enjoy! I highly recommend Sword Inn Bancroft!

Bit dated (not necessarily in a bad way, it's almost a relic of a time long past, but expect some wallpaper damage and some mild moisture damage in the bathroom). Besides that, clean, didn't smell too much (literally opened a window for a minute and it was fine, the smell of any hotel/inn room). Check-in was easy, parking was a breeze, breakfast was at a humane time (6:30am-9:30am) and not unpleasant (I mean, it was good. Don't expect gourmet). I didn't get a chance to check out the other facilities but they appeared to be good as well. Overall, considering what you're getting for the price you pay, it was well worth it. My only real complaint was that there was no fan in the bathroom, but there was a window which I guess has the same effect.

The location in the town was great and the amenities provided were good. The room was large and secure with both heating and cooling. Our room opened to an indoor foyer that was a little noisy in the evening and morning with the sound of people coming in and out but was fine overnight. Staff were all very helpful. Great value stay!

We had a nice stay. Staff was very accommodating for our late check in. Room was quiet, clean and the bed/pillows were soft and comfortable. Motel is overall well kept for its age.
