We were there during a heat wave so wish we had air conditioning in our room. Tried to keep the curtains closed but the cleaning staff kept opening them when the cleaned the room after we left for the day, keeping them closed during the day would have helped in keeping the room cooler.

Good Over Night

It was really nice that the lobby had a bar and food service! The lobby and eating/lounge areas were nicely decorated and a nice place to hang out. The staff was so kind! Nice place to stay before flying out. The room was warm. The summer is hot in the UK now. There was a fan in the room and offer of a top sheet, but if the hotel doesn't want to invest in air conditioning units, then they need to get ceiling fans. The planet isn't going to heal overnight, so it is time to invest in some ways to keep guests cool at night.

Great staff and good vfm

As ‘budget’ hotels go, this is up there. The accommodation’s comfortable but what stood out was the staff - reception and bar staff really friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough. We left at 3.45am next morning but there was a nice ‘grab and go’ breakfast which was great.
