Seems like the property was billed as having an airport shuttle, but it did not. The taxi that took me 1 mile to my hotel cost 20 pounds (something I hadn't factored into my budget). Then to get back to the airport was another 14 pounds. I think next time I will be staying at the IBIS, which is right across the street from the terminal.

Holiday Inn express. Manchester Runger Lane

Very welcome check in and complimentary drinks. Julie is a credit to the hotel. All staff we had contact with were polite and friendly. Food was good. Great place to stay for an overnight if flying out of Manchester.

Just a quick airport stop, staff were all excellent and friendly. Room was mediocre and had a little spider in my bed when i pulled back the sheets, everything else clean. A bit run down. Nice breakfast.

Good could be better.

Checking in and out was easy staff were polite and made sure facilities available including dining. Room was clean though sofa bed not comfortable. Shower was excellent and bathroom clean. Main meal purchased was disappointing and not good value. Free breakfast buffet served early and breakfast later. Close to airport for flights. An ok stay
