Buyer beware.

Between the uncomfortable bed and no air conditioning it was a terrible night sleep. We had chocolate candies along to take home as gifts, everything has melted from the heat in the hotel. I was disappointed to hear that the airport shuttle was not included and cost more than what an Uber can be found for not to mention the “airport hotel” being over 3 miles away from the airport. We have belongings in our room from previous guess, dust caked on things in the room and some kind of stains on the wall. Also, the sink must be about clogged shut because of the slow drain. It takes a little finess to get the door closed properly but even then there is still a gap.

Very Bad Condition. More Like a Hostel than Hotel!

I booked for a family of 4. Went into the room and it stunk of smoke and some other smell and was really hard to breathe. Plus one double bed and a single bed, for a family of 4? Bathroom was dated and broken tiles, door wood, bath etc. felt like a hostel, rather than a hotel. After complaining, we were moved to another room. Had a weird smell but much better than the other room. Bathroom was dated and the mixture tap doesnt mix very well. Car parking was a nightmare. Very tight spaces and some people took up two bays to add salt to the wound. Glad we didn’t stay for more than 1 night.

There was a strange small in the corridor of the hotel. I opened the window to let some fresh air in but the traffic was too loud to sleep though. Also I had been caught in heavy rain earlier and there was no heater or towel rail I could use to dry my clothes off

Complimentary tea but no drinking water in room

Absolutely terrible experience. No refrigerator and no drinking water in the room. Had to go down from fifth floor to buy water from reception in the middle of the night. I have been to other hotels and some drinking water in always available in the room and could order more. Capitalism at its best.

Reception staff do not speak much English, hotel is run down, parking is very limited for those with mobility issues. The room itself wasn’t very clean and had milk sachets hidden behind the tv, behind and under the beds, above pictures and in the bathroom. Very noisy at night as people were shouting and running down the halls and felt very unsafe as there was only one lock on the door as the other chain lock had been removed.

Room Service was excellent, the parking space is a bit chaotic, but overall value for money, I was there for cricket at Old Trafford !! Just 15 mins drive from the hotel which was brilliant.

Staff weren't very informative about parking (needed a key code to open gate for entry and exit but wasn't told that, although when I asked about a code for the gate I was given a small printed piece of paper with codes on ... then advised "you can just put your hand through the gap and turn the handle to open it" (not very safe). On leaving we thought the exit gate would open on it's own electronically (as it does on the other side to enter), so handed key cards in, went to the car then noticed a keypad to get the gate to open for exit, went back in to reception and asked why we weren't advised about/given the code and was told "you handed in the cards and said goodbye so I thought you knew". Just slightly annoyed/stressed by the situation. Basic facilities, next to a busy road so, even with the windows shut, slight traffic noise. You get what you pay for, so don't expect much, but not the worst place we've stayed.
