Very good hotel, lovely to stay in but breakfast is very very average. Expected a cooked breakfast at least but it’s all a buffet with about 7 options

This hotel is not user friendly at all for disabled customers. This ultimately lead to a very unhappy stay for my mother, for whom it should have been a lovely family stay.

We had a great stay here, the children loved the pool and the playpark and the wood walk, very near Drayton manor theme park, food was lovely but expensive, the beech lodge we stayed in had slight leak down one wall during a day of heavy rain but other than that the room was spacious clean and pretty, the hotel grounds are absolutely lovely, fantastic stay would definitely return

I stayed in room 2301. The check in was quick and easy. The room was clean. Went to the Spa and everything was nice and clean. Breakfast was varied and the waiters were amazing and very attentive to our needs. The following day the receptionist has kindly extended my check out time and that has helped me recover from lack of sleep (reason is below). As I was leaving with my luggage and got lost a staff member noticed me and came quickly to ask if i needed help. He kindly offered to pick the luggage from me as I was struggling and took it to my car. I asked about room keys he offered to take them off me so I didn't have to go back in. I was extremely impressed by the attentiveness of the staff at the Belfry on this visit. The only downturn was the Pillows were too puffed for my liking which as a result had uncomfortable sleep and had neck pains in the morning. Secondly there weren't much of TV channels available which was very disappointing as I wanted to watch films but there was only 5 chanells that were running.

Overall this is a very good hotel with just a few small details that were lacking that could otherwise make it an excellent hotel. The resort is very large with excellent amenities. Our room was very comfortable, well equipped and very clean. The leisure facilities were good and the golf, obviously, was excellent. A few things spoiled it a little for us. At breakfast the quality of the cooked breakfast was not up to the standard I would expect for this sort of hotel. The beans were cheap and watery and the toast was medium sliced white bread - it would be nice to have a choice of breads for example. Also there were no hash browns or potato products which made the choice limited for vegans, although there were 3 different varieties of eggs. The public areas were generally clean but the staircase to our bedroom was very dirty and did not look as though it had been hoovered recently. There was no water fountain in the gym which I would usually expect in this sort of facility. Also, the "child free" period in the pool was not enforced so the pool was very busy with young children when I expected it to be an adult only time over lunch. It was half term though so I appreciate that there were probably more children than usual. Overall a very good stay but could easily become excellent with a few small changes.
