Dark in room and corridors, door stuggled to be closed in bathroom, very small shower gel for two people..Generally very noisy hotel with constant door slamming throught the night, wake up call set up via hotel desk not on your phone in your room. Public corridors look like they need a face lift in places.

This was a very disappointing and uncomfortable stay. The hotel smelled throughout with strong odor.. Almost of bad glade airfreshner.. The corridors smelt bad. Particularly bad in public areas near fitness room and conference areas which smelt of an old damp gymnasium or smelly feet smell. It really was disgusting like a bad gym locker not cleaned. I literally could not sit in public areas as eyes and chest reacting like an allergy. Thought it was just me but I heard other guests making same comments and moving too. I went to Crowne plaza to use cafe/bar instead. Coffee shop and restaurant looks nice but otherwise the hotel is outdated and not clean or renovated for the price. Great tea/coffee in room Bewleys - best I've seen in hotel in truth. But I also got bites from the bed despite linen being changed daily. Not totally clean though. The gym room was not accessible with room key - not sure why not but smelt so bad in area it put me off asking even. Felt like I was staying in a 1970s brown walled hotel. Truly dissappointing even for an airport hotel. Airport shuttle free and recommended - nice helpful Egyptian driver did all he could to help and made the difference! Don't attempt to walk to hotel in wet as path from airport THICK with mud (not hotels fault) - but not good with cases as you have to walk round on main road if wet. Hol inn express much better option.
