There was an instance where the card would not allow me to enter the room, I have to travel all the way back down to the lobby to get the card reset. Staff was grumpy when checking us in, the room was nice but the sofa make me itch so did not really utilise it.

I stayed at Amari Watergate for five days, and the location was excellent—only about a 10-minute walk to Central World, which was really convenient. The manager, Patty, was incredibly helpful and made sure all my issues were resolved during my stay. Whenever I needed assistance, I could count on her. She will go extreme miles and beyond to fulfill my requests. Patty are polite and sincere and respectful to customer, which made a big difference in my experience. I always choose Amari when I’m in Bangkok because it’s a fantastic place to stay—clean and well-maintained. Housekeeping came twice a day to tidy up the room. I’ll definitely be staying at Amari again on my next trip.

The Amari is a very nice property. Well-appointed and great staff. Location is reasonably convenient given how spread out Bangkok is situated. Very nice amenities included and available on-sight.

Appreciated the central location of this hotel and amenities, especially room service, global breakfast, and steam rooms. Staff was especially kind. While I still do rate this a 4.5 star hotel and would likely stay again, there are some things that if another hotel offers, I will pivot: - the spa is overly expensive vs the surrounding area and the massage was lackluster. If looking for authentic thai massage, go elsewhere. - the in room babysitting that is offered here is unclear and you may not be eligible to use it as a result. One of the primary reasons we booked this place. - while breakfast was comprehensive, most of the foods were bland. The Indian food was the best option. - steam room/sauna/whirlpool hours are a bit limited in the evening and not advertised well (the entrance to the 8th floor just says 10pm) The swimming pool closes at 8, the locker rooms with steam/sauna closed at 9:30 and gym closed at 10p. Shoutout to Leila for explaining this all to me though.

Top notch staff service across the board. From the lobby personnel, wait staff at club siraa and amaya food gallery up to cleaning and maintenance people. Food taste could be improved at both the club siraa and amaya food gallery.

As we made our way to the hotel, a mix of excitement and exhaustion filled the air. However, our spirits quickly sank when we realized that we had inadvertently left our bag, which held our laptop and essential documents like our passports, in the public taxi. The moment we stepped into the hotel lobby, an overwhelming sense of devastation and disappointment washed over us. We knew we had to act quickly, so we approached the Ball concierge and his team for assistance. We sought out BALL Concierge Yes and his diligent team, feeling a glimmer of hope that they could help us in our moment of need. To our relief, they received us with genuine warmth and understanding. Their professionalism and empathy not only comforted us but also helped to ease the frustration that had been building since our realization of the lost bag. The hotel has implemented a comprehensive system for tracking the vehicles that transport guests to and from the property. Recognizing the urgency of our situation, BALL Concierge and his dedicated team sprang into action. They meticulously gathered the necessary details, including the taxi's registration number, demonstrating their commitment to assisting us. After making a swift phone call to the Public taxi company on our behalf, we could only hope for the best. Miraculously, despite our initial fears, our faith was restored within a mere 30 minutes. We received the exhilarating news that our bag had been located and was being returned to us.

The property was a little dated as it's on the older side but they keep it pristine and our room was updated beautifully. We really enjoyed the area as it was near lots of shopping and restaurants. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. Would definitely recommend the hotel for visiting guests.
