The location of the hotel is central only a taxi drive away to sightseeing. It is very clean. The staff is very very obliging and make hotel guests very welcomed and feel at home.

Thailand Stay

The hotel is in a good location and close to two very good malls. The hotel looks nice on arrival and the pool and outside space are nice. The rooms are overdue an update, they were very tired. The shower was broken and cockroach in bathroom at night :( . Staff were quite friendly and polite. Hotel gym was nice and well equipped. Overall the hotel is well located but needs updating. I would not stay here again.

First trip to bangkok!

It was my first time ever travelling to Thailand, so I didn't know what to expect! Location: the location is superb! Literally between a stones throw and 15 mins of shopping malls and markets! I advise you firstly take the cab (super cheap and make sure you ask for a metre!) then walk to the malls! Opposite the hotel is platinum mall the mall consists of small boutiques ranging from men's suits to women's accessories and clothes. All negotiable. 110-15 mins walk to Central world and gaysorn. Central world is high street stores and gaysorn is high end luxury shopping. Cleanliness: I would rate it a 4. Generally very good, although it did appear that sometimes parts of the bathroom were missed. Eg hair still on the floor! Room comfort: the beds were super comfy! Can't fault them at all! The cushions were epic! The furniture was decent and comfy too! Room decor: clean and modern. Everything looked and remained clean during my stay. Breakfast: the breakfast choice was vast ranging from an egg omelettes making station, fresh dragon fruit to continental options. Hotel restaurant: excellent choice, authentic and tasty! Good lighting and atmosphere. Hotel staff: pleasant, professional and extremely helpful. Cannot fault them at all! On site amenities: swimming pool was a decent size depite being covered by the sun, the gym was very small and busy but well equipped. It even had a ping pong table outside! Overall, an excellent hotel with great amenities, a brilliant location and highly professional staff! Would return and would recommend.

Good stay at the Amari Watergate.

As you'd expect from Amari, this is a very clean & well organised hotel with decent amenities and attentive, polite staff. Bar & Food prices are in line with other Amari hotels across Thailand (that is to say...a little steep!# but, hey! This is Bangkok and you don't have to travel far to find more affordable options. My only criticism #and it's only a slight one# of this hotel is that it's just a little bit 'Out of the way' when it comes to reaching both what you'd call the 'centre' of Bangkok and the riverside. I would suggest staying along Sukhumvit Road #which has many hotels of this standard & better# for ease of access to the citys many attractions.
