Nice and clean Hotel close to main attractions

Well situated, about 20 minutes walk to the Grand Palace and Decluning Buddha. Nearby Chinatown. Not well known by Tuk Tuk and taxi drivers, therefore a streetfinder would be a good idea.

Sehr zufrieden mit dem Zimmer, das Personal ist sehr freundlich, frühstück standart, teilweise kalt. aber direkt an einer großen Kreuzung und daher laut, ich habe leichten Schlaf und daher probleme damit.

Gute Lage

ca 800m zu Shopping ! Würde aber nicht länger als 2-3 Tage bleiben .

Triste Umgebung mit Großbaustelle

Zimmer war am Vormittag schon zu beziehen Frühstück leider zu teuer Trotz Vorauszahlung mit Kreditkarte wurde eine Kaution verlangt! Lage neben stark befahrener Straße, Umgebung mit Großbaustelle wirkt schmutzig

Kein 4- Sterne Standart

Ich hatte in Bangkok ein laut Beschreibung 4-Sterne Hotel gebucht. Als wir ankamen sah es von außen bereits etwas abgenutzt, aber dennoch solide aus. Die Begrüßung und der Check-In gingen schnell und waren gut organisiert. Die Koffer werden, wie dies in Thailand üblich ist, aufs Hotelzimmer gebracht. Bereits als wir in unser Zimmer per "Aufzug" fuhren ereilte mich eine böse Vorahnung wie erst der Rest des Hotels aussehen würde. Die Flure der Stockwerke waren dann auch bereits ziemlich abgenutzt, trostlos und spärlich eingerichtet. Zum Zimmer an sich: Das Zimmer war vor einigen Jahren sicherlich solide. Die Einrichtung war Geschmackvoll und sah an sich gut aus. Jedoch war das Zimmer wieder sehr minimalistisch eingerichtet. Es sah sehr kahl aus und die an sich nett anzusehende Einrichtung verlor sich. Zudem lagen auf dem Boden teilweise Haare rum, auf der Wand waren Flecken und Risse und alles war extrem abgenutzt. Teils lagen Harre herum. Die Klimaanlage war extrem laut, sobald man diese ausschaltete wurde es zu warm in dem Zimmer. Die Fenster schlossen nicht richtig. Ferner war das Zimmer schlecht Schallisoliert, somit drang der gesamt Straßen und Baulärm Bangkoks auch Nachts ein. an einen durchgehenden Schlaf war nicht zu denken. Im Detail: Ausstattung: Was vorhanden war, war hübsch, aber alt und abgenutzt - mit Flecken, Rissen etc. Vor einigen Jahren evtl. schön gewesen jetzt aber lieblos und karg! Klimaanlage war zu laut und Fenster schliessen nicht richtig und isolierten kaum. Lage: war ok mit Tuktuk (ca. 150 Baht) zum SIam Center und MBK, mit Taximeter ca. 200 Baht (mit Trinkgeld etc.) zum Chatuchak-Weekend Markt. Allerdings große Baustellen vor dem Hotel, von dennen der Lärm ungehindert ins Zimmer kommt. (Und die sehen auch so aus, als ob die noch einige Zeit bestehen bleiben). Die eigentlich Lage ist in China Town, mit dem Taxi dauert die Fahrt etwa 45 min, je nach Verkehrslage. Sauberkeit: teils Haare gefunden, es wurde nicht gesaugt und am Duschvorhang war -z.B.- noch Haarfärbemittel von vorherigen Gästen. Ferner Flecken an der Wand etc. Komfort: Wie man bereits erkennen kann: eher mager! Lärm, schlechte Möblierung und mangelnder Roomservice tragen nicht zum Wohlbefinden bei. Kein 4-Sterne Standart! Personal: Das Personal (Außnahme Putzfrauen) war das einzig positive: Schnell, Kompetent, höflich und bemüht (im positiven Sinne) half es einem aus. Das personal war das einzige was einem 4-Sterne Standart entspricht. Preis/ Leistung: Habe das Hotel ein paar Stunden vorher spontan gebucht, mein einziges Kriterium dabei waren gute Lage (hatte es im groben, mit Tuktuk war man in 15 min in der Stadtmitte). Man kriegt im selben Segment (Ultra last minute) bestimmt besseres, notfalls packt man 10 € drauf. Da hat Thailand viel mehr zu bieten als so eine Klitsche. Und gerade Thailand hat sonst immer SUPER Hotels für vergleichsweise wenig Geld. Fazit: Das ist kein 4-Sterne Standart, sondern höchstens 2**! Geht woanders hin, ich war nur 2 Nächte dort, das war ok, für mehr wäre mir mein Urlaub aber zu schade gewesen. Gerade in Thailand und Bangkok kriegt man sehr gute Hotels. Hier ist jedenfalls keine Entspannung nach einem anstrengenden Bangkok Tag zu finden. Nie wieder.
