Convenient location

Montien is conveniently located near many great restaurants and even a Starbucks for those who need their SB's fix. The Patpong night market is a two-minute walk. The metro station is less than a ten-minute walk and there are three large malls that are only a few metro stops away. The hotel itself is nice although our bathroom was small and dated.

It’s a 4star hotel, not 5star. Staff is attentive and the beds are nice. The room has low ceilings so it feels a little claustrophobic. The area is a bit seedy and not great to walk around.

Outstanding stay, staff is very helpful and accomadating, facility is clean, breakfast amazing, and comfortable. Beds and pillows were spot on for a comfortable night sleep. It is next to one of the best night markets in Bangkok, so you can shop, and dine with authentic Thai food pool is refreshing and the workout facility adequate

We arrived at the hotel at about noon after traveling 26hrs. We explained our situation and asked for the possibility of early check-in. The hotel worked hard to get a room cleaned up and had it available for us in less than 30mins which we very much appreciate.

Terrible checking in experience

Checking was really painful. Messaged the hotel in advance asking to extend my stay by one night but never heard back. When arrived asked to extend it and it took the team a lot of time to figure it out. They also charged me 1.5 x the rate I paid for the first 5 nights online. Then they took me to a room which someone had smoked in and took another 1h to reallocate me to another room. Breakfast was super expensive and bad quality too. Glad I didn’t pay for it everyday. Bed was however comfy and the room was cleaned everyday very well.

We have stayed in Silom area many times over the past 20 years and this is the 1st time at The Montien. Recently remodeled, the rooms are modern, clean, comfortable and large. Buffet breakfast good. Service is 5 star

Mediocre. We booked for three people but we only had amenities for two. We asked for amenities for one more person but they didn't give us few things even we asked few times. The menu for the room service does not work, the checking in process takes way more time, most of the staff doesn’t speak English well, the doorman kept suggesting sketchy rides, for the price I was pretty unsatisfied.
