Godt hotel med en god beliggenhed. Havde halvpension, og maden er overraskende god, og varieret. Havde værelse på toppen, med fantastisk havudsigt. Dog mangler der et køleskab. Personalet var meget venlige, imødekommende og hjælpsomme.

This was our 3rd visit but the changes did not improve the hotel. The refurbished restaurant was clinical and so noisy, the constant scraping of chairs on tiled floor. The former extra restaurant area which was a quiet haven is now the AI snack area briefly opened for the odd hour or so. We missed the outside water fountain too. In our bedroom, the balcony door and windows were in a bad state and badly needed painting. No hair drier in the bathroom is ridiculous. Also, we had no bidet. Beds were comfy and we slept well. Cleaning was not the best. The food in the restaurant was not as good as previous visits and there was less choice. Most staff were quite unfriendly. We did enjoy our holiday and spent time in Mijas and Malaga which was lovely. We probably won't return to Gardenia Park Hotel again.

Nearly perfect

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is my 3rd one this year. Staff are wonderful caring friendly and efficient. Food was very good with plenty of variety and for the price it was very good value. Rooms are basic but clean. However a fridge and kettle would have been handy. Area is within short walking distance of bars supermarkets and shops. Bus stop to Malaga or fuengirola right outside. Very popular with English and Spanish and nearly always booked up

Hotellet känns omodernt och skulle behöva rustas upp. Maten i frukost- och middagsbuffén håller ingen högre klass. Extra barnsäng visade sig vid ankoms kosta extra i motsats till vad som stod på sidan vid bokning.

Room with a view

On arrival was given a room on the ground floor just off reception, large. Comfy room but unfortunately above a very loud disco, after complaining to the night reception staff, who where very helpful and asked us to see them in the morning upon which we where quickly moved to a room on the 8th floor same spec with fab views. Very happy with the service we received. Breakfast was very good and we would stay there again no problem.

Jeg og min mann bodde her i fire uker hele okt. Hadde et fantastisk vær som gjorde sitt til at hotelloppholdet ble kjempe bra og vi kommer gjerne igjen. Hotellet ligger flott til, stille og nærme stranden med en deilig have med solstoler. Maten og renholdet var også meget bra til å være et tresjerners hotell.

Decent 3 star and only about 5 minute walk from train station. Room was basic but very clean. TV had the added bonus of BBC 1, ITV plus CNN in English. Good selection of food in the restaurant. It would have been good to have a different option to paella as the rice option but can't be easy for the chef's trying to provide options for the amount of different nationalities staying at the hotel.

Fantastic Holiday

You cannot fault anything about this hotel.The staff throughout the hotel are friendly and polite.There is a good choice of food and you can have wine or water with your evening meal even if you book half board which is a very nice touch.The morning entertainment team Lola Adam and Miguel are so much fun that we looked forward to it every day.The aqua was our favourite and we still have the music and moves in our heads.Thanks to all staff,management and friends that,we met for making this holiday memorable. Fun fun fun all the way.
