Great, boutique style hotel in the heart of Chinatown Bangkok. The staff were incredibly friendly and there are some incredible places to eat all within a few minutes of walking distance. The room is on the smaller side and at first glance, doesnt seem to have very secure doors but all our belongings were safe and we never once felt worried or uncomfortable. The bar seems to be a popular place for foreigners at night if you like to socialize. Definitely recommend!

The staff, Binzin, Ben and the rest were very accommodating… the hotel is beautiful, cool and has a nice vibe… the location is great as it’s in the center of China towns action- a bit much after a couple of days but worth the stay

The other is beautiful and very conveniently located in the very heart of Chinatown. We were first offered a beautiful room at the front of the hotel but the noise of the street as well as the music from the bar bellow made it incredibly and unbearably noisy. The next day we were relocated to a beautiful and quiet room towards rhe back of the hotel. The service in this hotel is in par with the most luxurious 5 stars! All the staff was absolutely amazing. There are free snacks for guests on each floor also. I cannot recommend this hotel enough but, if you really need to pick a room not at the front of the hotel or you will not sleep.

The Shanghai Mansion Hotel in Bangkok was excellent! The hotel was really nicely decorated and clean. Breakfast had a nice array of Thai, Chinese, and Western foods. The hotel bar had live music which was really fun! The room was very quiet despite music playing below. The location was great!

Great Location

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, amazing location. Bar prices are expensive but we have a choice not to eat or drink there. We were told that we cannot sit there if we don’t order anything which was fine.

Really nice stay, the bed and towels were massive, the room very clean and the staff lovely. Being right amongst the chaos of china town was an experience to say the least. Would have enjoyed the spa and restaurant more if they were more price accessible for guests but that is my only complaint. Would definitely stay again!

If you are going to stay in Chinatown, this is the place. Very unique decor and atmosphere. I thought thr breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff are friendly and accommodating. My room was very quiet. I spent hours examining all the amazing artifacts on display throughout the hotel. I love the inner courtyard design.

Shanghai Mansion is located right in Bangkok's Chinatown. A short walk from the subway line (20 minutes) accessible from BKK airport. Most every night the street market is open for shopping and delicious food. All exotic and fresh. Restaurants are open, too, and tend to spill out onto the sidewalks when busy. Mansion staff can help with scheduling activities and taxi rides to nearby malls. Not to be missed.

The hotel is beautiful with it's art deco feel. I would a void breakfast as I expected better for a 4 star, you are better off going outside for breakfast. I don't like that the sink is not part of the bath room in regards to hygiene. The toilet is too low.
