hotel in an industrial area

Pros: excellent hygiene and customer services
Cons: the shuttle service failed to collect me or even notify me of any potential delays. The same applied when leaving the hotel.
Location: location was convenient to public transport | French city centre
I booked this hotel because it had a pool however swimming was not possible as the waters were icy. It did not specify the indoor pool would be unheated.

Great location but very, very basic

The hotel was OK. It's located just few steps from the French-Swiss boarder (in Saint-Louis, FR) which makes it very good for someone who would like to visit the area. We had a car and it's unfortunate that you have to pay for parking! This was a family trip (2 adults and 2 16-year olds) the room felt very crowded. I am not sure what to recommend... I guess it would depend who will be in the room. Wish price included breakfast. I still can't tell what the smell is in the hallway... some kind of cleaning product or wood maintenance paint(?)

paid for room twice

Although we booked and paid when we arrived at the hotel late in the evening we were charged again for the hotel room the staff member saying it was taxes when we checked when we arrived at our room they had indeed charged us again for 4 days in the hotel room, we went back to reception and explained we had already paid and he agreed it had been paid in advance but he could do nothing until his manager came back in the morning, the next day it was refunded but it takes 4 days to return the money. We did read the reviews on line before going on holiday and this is not the first time this has happened at this hotel. Not very impressed.

Perfectly acceptable budget aparthotel

This is a pretty good aparthotel in a good location. It's easy to get into Basel and even closer to the motorway network. The pool is cool but big enough. They have some underground parking at a reasonable cost. The staff are friendly and helpful.

really disappointed

We stayed at this hotel before since hotel was Citea but now change to ACCOR chain which I expected that it would be better as ACCOR standard but not at all. We booked for 4 nights via e-bookers which no any information that no cleaning if booked more than 3 night staying. If the cleaning required - the supplement required. How come to stay in the room un clean with the same towel from the first day. What the money paid for? I stayed only for 2 nights and moved to other hotel and will not go back to stay at this hotle any more.
