Glady Hideaway
"We wanted to get away from the heat and we found a great spot for that at Glady Hideaway. Totally shaded and much cooler than out in the sun. We also like to get away from hustle and bustle when we vacation. Glady Hideaway is perfect for that. Small town Elkins nearby had everything we needed: grocery store, gas station, brewery (Big Timber Brewing $5 draft beer!), and coffee shop (Tip Top). The WiFi worked the whole time we were there which was very helpful when mapping out our hikes. Plenty of hikes nearby (we aimed for the High Falls but didn't quite make it). Lots of wild life, we even saw a bald eagle! And for a little drive, very dramatic falls at Blackwater Falls State Park where they had half pints of ice cream from Ala Moo Creamery! The host Sheree responded quickly to all of our questions. We'd love to come back again some day!"
